Room was clean and location was spot on.
The extra I paid for breakfast was disappointing, continental,but if you wanted something like an extra orange juice, you're talking a £3.95 charge🤔
How close it is to the racetrack. Easy walk to shops and restaurants but, the thing that sets the Abode in Chester is the staff. I have never met a more kind, caring and loving staff anywhere in the world that I have stayed. My trip wasn’t an easy one with obstacles continually getting in my way and everyone was there to help and support me. I can’t thank them enough. Well done.
To no fault of the hotel the A/C broke during a heat wave. It was fixed as promptly as possible.

Paid for Continental within the price of the booking and upgraded on the day to cooked breakfast. So had orange juice & cooked breakfast feel missed out on Croissants pastries etc none of this was offered or explained I could have that as I paid for it
How breakfast was explained
The staff were very friendly and helpful in every way nothing was to much of an effort for them.
Didn't like that there was not enough pillows and there wasn't any spare pillows in the room, good that we saw the house keeping staff and asked them for more pillows and they left extra pillows in our room.
Nice, clean room with good view towards the courts and race course. Staff very helpful and facilitated an extra night.
Breakfast was poor - a set menu of fruit juice and cereal , tea/coffee. Full English was an additional £11 per person! Ridiculous!!

The breakfast was poor. Waiter rude when asked what was included. Poor selection. Save some money and go and have breakfast in the numerous city cafe that are independent and lovely
