Our 5 night stay at The Avaton was wonderful! The staff did everything they could to make it as amazing as possible for us from the moment we arrived. We had an upgraded room and excellent service throughout our stay. They organised restaurant bookings for us and the couples massage was the best treatment we have ever had! Convenient location for strolling into Fira of an evening, when it was cooler. Every was perfect! Thank you so so much 😊

Staying at the Avaton Tesort and Spa has been the greatest treat so far. Not only were there beautiful views and rooms but the accommodations were nothing short of luxury. We received a great breakfast and good coffee every morning and had access to their wonderful spa facilities. To top it all off Efthimis and Xrisoula were both amazing receptionists! They made our stay exceptional.

Amazing location, staff and property with views. In somewhere slightly quieter than fira or oia, this is perfect escape the crowds without being too far from anything. The staff are over the top attentive and will help with any request, absolutely brilliant. Among the best places ive ever stayed.

Amazing staff who were there for our every need. Amazing location as well with a beautiful view of the caldera and Oia, easy access to the hike from Thera to Oia and middle location for easy access around the whole island while being away from the crowds.

Perfection! Private, classy, exceptional staff and location; I could go on and on. This hotel is located in the perfect spot for the best sunset view in santorini; highest point on the caldera but only 15/20 min walk down to the bars and clubs. We took a taxi home each night for 15 Euros. Thank you Bessy and all the staff who made our vacation one to remember.

The Avaton was fantastic. It is kind of at the end of the “tourist” areas before you get to Oia which makes it nice and quiet compared to Fira or Firostefani. The honeymoon suite, room 1, had the best views out of all the rooms. The pool deck is shared but incredibly beautiful. We did not find better views throughout our travels in Santorini. Bessy and Zoe at the front desk are so helpful and are constantly checking on you to ensure you are attended to. They provide wonderful recommendations and will book you whatever you need. If you follow their advice, you will have a great time in Santorini. We absolutely loved the Avaton and would be back in an instant!

We were picked up at the airport and taken care of until we reached the beautiful hotel on the edge of the famous Santorini caldera. The view is just breathtaking.

All hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rarely have we been able to enjoy such hospitality anywhere else. It's really an outstanding service provided by the Avaton Resort staff.

We had a room on the upper floor called "deluxe room" (totally worth the premium!). It is equipped with a private balcony which is overlooking the pool and the caldera. Every morning a friendly staff member brought us the complimentary breakfast to our balcony, which we ordered the evening before. Having breakfast in such an intimate atmosphere is a fantastic way to start the day.

The hotel convinced us in all aspects: infinity pool (wow!), restaurant (delicious & fast!), cleanliness & equipment of the room (perfect!). The best thing was the staff, who really cared for the guests with an above-and-beyond service mentality.

The Avaton Resort was perfect for our three night stay in Santorini. From the moment we checked in until check-out, the service was impeccable. We had dinner the first night we checked in, and it was as if we had our own private little restaurant. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, shower pleasant and the view walking out your door to the pool overlooking the caldera was breathtaking. You have your own personal spot to watch the sunset each night! We thoroughly enjoyed the personalized breakfast delivered to our patio each morning, so we could dine overlooking the water. I discovered my new love for espresso fredo. Imerovigli is certainly more on the quiet side - so if you are looking to be more in the mix of things, then I'd say you're better off in Fira or Oia. There are plenty of restaurants nearby that are some of the best on the island. We took a catamaran cruise one day and a wine tour the next, and the pickup spot was a 5 minute walk away and very convenient. Transportation is hard to come by on the island, but the resort is more than glad to make arrangements for car service. We did walk back from Fira one night, which took about 35 minutes. There is a walkway right behind the resort that leads to Fira and Oia in respective directions. We could not have asked for a better stay.
