Pros:

Very nice authentic location of years of grandeur, not very modernized or renovated. And that's what this atmosphere makes it like you feel part of a noble history.
Very good food with dinner and breakfast in a splendid setting (in the garden because of the nice weather). We enjoyed it very much.

Overall really nice atmosphere and well preserved historical building. La Scuderia was a Nice restaurant. Would have been nice to stay for a bit longer.

Beautiful grounds and pool. Amazing views! Room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the wireless internet connection waa terrible, which meant the TV would not load channels and I was unable to work remotely. I told thw front desk but nothing was done. Also, their restaurants require reservations and by the time we checked in there were no reservatioms left at the main restaurant. Also note that no food from outside the hotel is allowed.

Great atmosphere, with good proximity to MXP and the Lakes.
We ate ate the more casual on-site restaurants both nights as my wife enjoyed it so much.
The staff is outstanding!

Die alte Villa hat Charme. Auch der Vorplatz, wenn man mit dem Auto vorfährt durch die Kieselsteine. Das ganze Umfeld.

Delightful! Friendly staff and amazing spa! A shame when you stay there you are charged extra for the spa as this never was the case! Also 7pm too early to close the pool! But thank you for an excellent stay! Amazing staff

Très bel hôtel, dans un style un peu napoléonien! Attention, l'hôtel comprend un bâtiment ancien plein de charme, un peu desuet et une aile récente au confort moderne. 2 univers bien différents.

Wir waren als Familie für eine Woche in der Villa Borghi und hatten eine Suite. Das Haus ist eine prächtige, alte Villa, die etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Eine kleine "Auffrischung" könnte nicht schaden. Leider wird wohl am Personal gespart, was man an der Zimmerreinigung ( wir sahen immer nur 2 Damen für das gesamte Hotel) und auch bei Frühstück sieht. Apropos Frühstück: ist wirklich nicht empfehlenswert, nicht zu sagen, unterirdisch. Hier sollte wirklich nachgebessert werden.
Ansonsten eine große, teilweise auch schöne Anlage, mit einem Pool, der fleißig genutzt wird.

Was noch wichtig ist, man ist wirklich mitten in der "Pampa". Um an die Seen ( Lago Maggiore, Comer See, Luganer See) zu kommen, muss man länger fahren.
