Let down by the quality of food in the restaurant.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and the staff welcoming . Beautiful grounds.
Very fast Wi Fi.

Cons:

Dinner in the restaurant was very disappointing and expensive . It was presented beautifully but the meat was tough and the pasta thick and under cooked .
A bar would have been nice.

Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage, Aussicht und Ausstattung. Die Zimmer haben zwar kein Fernsehen, aber das ist wohl Teil des Konzeptes und trägt zur Entschleunigung bei. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist lecker und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

Pros:

Fabulous building full of history and character and a marvellous setting. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a hotel.

A perfect luxury stay in the country.
Pros:

The Hotel is absolutely beautiful with stunning views and wonderful grounds. Our rooms were quite lovely. We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed but an alternative was arranged in advance at the local village and we were thrilled with the breakfast the next day. The staff were very helpful and chaming.
