Ein Ort, an den man immer wieder zurückkehren will

Im Herzen von Veere gelegt hat das Hotel auch dieses Mal nicht enttäuscht. Das Personal, allen voran der Chef, sind furchtbar nett und aufmerksam. Die Qualität stimmt hier einfach. Es ist modern, ruhig, gemütlich und sehr gepflegt. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, das Bad (samt Badewanne) auch, und wir hatten einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die "Hauptrennmeile" von Veere. Am Fenster standen große Windlichter, die wir abends anmachten - sehr romantisch. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Frühstück bot eine große Auswahl, war immer frisch und lecker. Der Kaffee hat auch geschmeckt. Parken kann man in der Altstadt nicht, aber der Weg zum Parkplatz ist nicht weit. Das Abendessen können wir auch empfehlen. Die Karte ist zwar klein, aber man kann dort wirklich gut kochen und man sitzt im Restaurant echt gemütlich. Um 17 Uhr werden die Bürgersteige hochgeklappt und schläft auch bei geöffnetem Fenster sehr gut und ruhig.

Cons:

Wir hatten zwar in diesem Zimmer keine Klimaanlage, aber dafür einen Ventilator. Vielleicht wäre ein Mückenschutz am Seitenfenster eine Überlegung wert. Wir haben aber auch ohne gut geschlafen.
