Basic & budget hotel
Pros:

This is a very budget hotel, it served its purpose however it is not somewhere I would recommend to anyone.

First is due to the location, please simply do your research, the hotel is located in the middle of the city, it is next to streets which are full of homeless and drugs, I witnessed people using as-well as drug deals happening in broad day light. The streets are quite dirty with what appeared to be human excrement on the pavements and a strong smell of urine down most of the nearby streets.

The hotel itself is basic but if you just need a place to get your head down, it is however clean and perfect for just that. In terms of the room, this was likely down to me simply misreading the information before booking the hotel, whilst it is not the end of the world, there are no tea & coffee making facilities in the room, it is slightly annoying but you’ll live.
They also have lights in the room which are intended to be moved about however, upon trying to bend this as designed, it was not fully attached to the wall and if this had of been pulled on much harder or moved, would of come straight out of the wall. I also used one of the plug sockets at the far end of the room, however when trying to take out my plug, pulled the socket covering off which is not ideal. Information regarding the room also states ‘Air-con’ however this was difficult to use and could only get this to work once, when I spoke to reception about this, they said at this time of year it should not work and can only be used for ‘hot air’. I am from the UK and the temperatures over here were up to 18. We really did struggle with the heat in the room.

The food was basic but it was nice enough, I’ve had worse but equally I have had better. They had options such as a savoury, hot, cereal and fruit breakfast so yes there is something there for everyone. They had a variety of options for dinner too which were nice. We didn’t have lunch so I cannot comment on that.

I cannot fault the staff, they are friendly and welcoming and more than happy to help in terms of arranging transportation around the city and any other enquires/information you may need.

Please note that the issues in the room did not effect are stay but I feel should still be taken into consideration when booking a hotel.

The other thing to consider too is if you are looking for something quiet then this is not the hotel for you. The rooms are supposed to be soundproof however even with the windows shut the city is loud at night. I could hear someone snoring from another room (Yes, they were incredibly loud). There were also two school trips here during our 4 night stay.

This hotel just wasn’t for us but as mentioned serves it’s purpose for something that is basic and if you are on a budget.

Nice centrally located Hotel with Rooftop Bar and Pool.
Pros:

We stayed there 4 nights as part of a family reunion for 12 people. the Hotel is centrally located and nearby the metro station which is very easy to use. the main sightseeing ( Olympic stadium, Acropolis, Klappa etc) are all just 20-30mn walks away
The rooms are nice and we found the beds comfy. great water pressure in the shower.
The highlight is the roof top bar with view on the acropolis and a small pool to chill out.
Nice menu with the rooftop bar and nice cocktails too. Buffet at night downstairs is OK.
Breakfast is very nice with cold and hot food.
tip: Get a room on the side of the hotel as main street can be noisy.
great staff throughout the hotel, and reception opened 24/7.

Pros:

The staff was really lovely. The pool on the roof I think is the best part of this place and they have a nice breakfast in the morning. The rooms are a little dated but OK. The only complaint I really have is the pillows were horrible so it was hard to sleep.

Pros:

The hotel is located in the center of Athens, close to the subway station, convenient to attractions, with excellent facilities, cleanliness and excellent service. The front desk service is particularly excellent, and George is particularly warm and considerate in his hospitality, so I highly recommend this hotel.

Pros:

A welcoming hotel with very helpful staff. Well located for the metro. We did walk to various destinations from the hotel during the day and didn't experience any problems. However, the area is not the best especially at night so probably best to use the Metro at such times. Great rooftop pool and bar with views of the Acropolis.

Just spent 2 nights here and loved it! Massive shout out George on reception who was lovely and welcoming and gave us some brilliant suggestions and directions!! Breakfast was great and rooftop pool also a great plus. All round brilliant stay !

Pros:

Very nice hotel, the service people is very nice and responsible. The breakfast is super good! Close to metro station, but it is not a hub station, you need change tram most of time. But it is directly 4 stops go to Acropolis. It is more than worth the dollars you paid. Excellent hotel, would recommend.

Pros:

I would highly recommend staying here. The staff were wonderful and the amenities equally so. The patio has a great view, and the pool (albeit small) was perfect on a hot August afternoon. When it got too hot, the inside bar and lounge area were comfortable to hang out. The room was small (we had two twins), but efficient. Easy access to the subway. Oh, and the breakfast buffet was beyond imagination. Very good.

Went pre cruise, in a awful area full of drug addicts and drunks. Hotel was basic, safe was broke in our and friends rooms. Breakfast was OK, Don't go there.

We stayed her 2 nights before heading to the islands. We loved it! The staff was so kind and helpful. It’s a smaller hotel so never crowded. The rooms were spacious and nice (the beds were a little hard for us)
The view from the rooftop is so beautiful!
And the dinner/drinks were some of the best we had our whole 2 week trip! Highly recommend the restaurant! The breakfast display was large and very good!!
We did a hop on/hop off tour and it picked up very very close. So we loved the convenience. The taxi drivers would tell us it wasn’t the “best area” but we didn’t have any issues and it was my 23 yr old daughter and I. I would stay here again if I came back

Great hotel
Pros:

The staff were excellent, the food was very good and the view from the rooftop to the Acropolis can’t be beat. The hotel however is in an a depressed area of the city. It was only a 20 minute walk to the Plaka and Acropolis area but you have to walk through the area that is depressed. That is not the fault of the hotel but it is something to take note of for families.

This hotel is incredible, especially for the price. Great pool, amazing breakfast, friendly and very helpful staff, clean, big rooms
. The neighborhood can be a little bit sketchy at night so that’s important to know, but otherwise everything is perfect.
