The location was excellent with amazing views.
Staff were lovely and food was great!
Good water pressure in showers and exceptionally clean
All fabulous
Great location, the bar, restaurant all fabulous . We both had the chicken souvlaki and the chicken was very succulent and delicious and a wonderful Greek salad, so good I had it twice.
The staff were great in the restaurant & bar, there was a union strike on in Corfu but the staff we’re working and a credit to the hotel, warm, friendly & very welcoming.
Lighting in the bedroom & bathroom.
More coffee pods in the room, as only 3 supplied & when I asked at reception later in the evening, I was told they would be replenished in the morning, ( we were there only for one night). One peculiar disappointment was in the restaurant/bar we tried to order coffee after our meal & were told they didn’t serve coffee after 8pm but the coffee machine was still lit up!
The breakfast was perfect, good quality coffee and fresh orange juice. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for the old town and fort. The rooms looked like they were refurbished recently and the shower had plenty of pressure and was hot. The whole hotel was very clean. I was surprised this was only a 3 star hotel it felt more like 4 star or better.
There was very little that could be better, it was noisy at night with the hotel balcony door open but I think it would be impossible to find anywhere quiet in old town corfu.
The location of the hotel was superb, right in the middle of Corfu Town. We were on the fifth floor with a balcony over looking the park and fort. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony watching the world below. The room was modern, spacious, clean and well equiped and importantly well sound proofed from the traffic outside. Though the walls were thin and we could easily hear our neighbours but that wasn't an issue. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty to eat at breakfast but we were there for 7 nights and it was the same every morning and became quite boring. The hot food was never really hot. One big disappointment was that the roof terrace was not open, too early in the season they said yet the weather was great and it would have been nice to watch the sunset over Corfu. There was no where in the hotel to have a little bit of peace and quiet other than your room. Be warned about Corfu airport, get there early , at least 3 hours, as it was chaos with all the cruise ships passengers going home.
So noisy at night. The club/bar across the road went on to 3.30am both nights. No sleep hardly. Would not stay there again.
Great central location
I booked 2 rooms at the same price for friends and us. Our room was incredibly small, probably due to the poor layout. One small window, so the room was always dark, compared to their room which had a twin balcony with table and chairs. Our bathroom was narrow, you had to turn sideways past the toilet to get to the shower. The bed was very hard. We’re glad we were only there for 2 nights. The room best suited for one person on a business trip.
Hotel was very nice and clean. We had a room on the third floor with a balcony. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room tidy. Staff at the hotel were always friendly and helpful.
Bathroom was on the small side, even for two people. Bed was very firm and pillows could have been softer.
View from the room was great, however it’s pretty noisy. I sleep with ear plugs and my partner has a CPAP so we weren’t terribly bothered by the noise, but if you are a light sleeper or prefer quiet while you sleep, then I wouldn’t book one of these rooms. It would be noisy from about 7 pm to sometimes 2 am.
We loved the proximity to everything.
Morning breakfast buffet had plenty of options. Cappuccino and other coffee is available but sometimes a challenge to get the waitstaff attention should you want a second one.
Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, great coffee, nice interior design
Rien !
Top Floor..! Wonderful View..! Lovely Staff.
Nothing, Much To Say…In That Direction.
all perfect & very convenient
We stayed in the Hotel Arcadion for one night in Corfu town. The hotel is centrally located and easy to reach.
Check in was very straightforward and we headed to our room on the fifth floor by way of a quite rickety-feeling lift.
The room (506) was a lovely room - the view was almost exactly the view in the headline photos of this hotel - overlooking the Spianada and Fort.
We had two balconies.
The rooms were very clean and I especially liked the bathroom fittings.
We received a welcome glass of prosecco which we had in the hotel's bar / bistro.
Breakfast was quite small, but very tasty and there was a classy selection of warm dishes, cold dishes and pastries.
I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
The hotel is well located, right in the centre of things with shops, bars, restaurants in easy walking distance. The taxi rank and bus stop for the 2A are just opposite too. I was there 10 days and used their restaurant for lunch and dinner on more than one occasion as the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were polite and helpful. I have a gluten allergy which I informed them of beforehand so they had GF bread for me at breakfast and I was able to explain the situation in the restaurant. The room was kept very clean.
