Ilio Mare Resort Hotel

This “so called” 5 stars hotel does not deserve even 3 stars.

Nobody picks up your luggage on arrival. They dont escort you to your room.

The pool is over chlorined, makes your skin rash and feel sick from breathing. There is moist at the pool where the pool water ends.

There is no room service. You have to go fetch anything you need from the bar.

The cleaning staff wakes you up with sounds each morning at 8.

The place where you have open buffet is so hot, no air conditioning. All food that needs to be kept cool are hot.

We have informed the hotel that our daıghter has celiacs disease and we need special meal requirements, they ignored, did not help.

And the staff is unhappy, not helpful, serving with a bad and “bored” attitude.

Dieses Hotel hat absolut keine 5 Sterne verdient, höchstens 3 Sterne.
Die Bilder des Hotels, der Anlage, geschweige des Strandes entsprechen nicht der Realität!
Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, sind früher abgereist und werden auch nicht mehr wiederkommen!!

Havuz derinliği büyükler için uygun değildi, plajı güzeldi denize girişin ilk bir kaç metresi taşlıktı ve çabuk derinleşiyor, biraz açılınca taş bitiyor ve derinlik yerini tekrar sığlığa bırakıyor

The cleaning lady was exceptional and one of the reception lady.
The property barely can make it to be a 3star resort looks like it is the time for a refresh for everything … It is anon smoking resort but you can find ash trays on balcony and everybody is smoking there and is impossible to keep the door open because of that.The water is perfect but is not making the resort 5 star.
Very disappointed when we check in lots of things did not work or they were broken we had to ask to be fixed .
Overal not a super stay….

Otel güzeldi. Kahvaltı ve akşam yemekleri standart ama lezzetli. Denizi muhteşemdi. Şezlong kapma derdi yok. Oda temizliği güzel. Akşam yemeklerinde alınan içecekler ekstra ücretli. Alakart restoranda yemekler iyi ama pizzayı sevmedik. Tekrar gelinir. Çalışanlar çok iyiler.

Lokasyon iyi, karşılamada hoşgeldiniz içeceği ikramı sunuluyor. Oropark alanı (üstü kapalı olan ) yetersiz ancak sağlı sollu otelin yanına ücretsiz park edebiliyorsunuz. Bizim odamız 1. Kat olduğu için aracımızı hemen odamızın yanına park edebildik ve eşyalarımızı taşımak oldukça kolay oldu. Oda manzaramız havuz ve bahçe idi. Odanın verandası olması ise büyük şans. Her gün temizlik yapılıyor. Oda büyük ve kullanışlıydı. Yalnızca 3. Kişi için bir tek kişilik yatak konulsaydı daha iyi olurdu. 2 gece o rahatsız yatakta uyumak benim için zordu. Kahvaltı açık büfe ve oldukça zengin. Hizmet eden tüm arkadaşlar kibar ve güleryüzlü. Otelin plajı hemen yolun karşısında. Genel olarak sahil uzun, kumsal küçük taşlık ve denizin içi kum.

Schönes Hotel, direkt am Strand. Das Meer ist fantastisch und der Hotelstrand sehr schön und gepflegt. Gelegentlich war das Strandmusik des Hotels allerdings zu laut.
Mein Zimmer war am Meerseite, nachts hört man das Meeresrauschen.
Das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt, das Bett bequem, das Bad ordentlich.
Leider rauchen einige Gäste auf ihren Balkonen (das ist erlaubt), sodass der Rauch oder das Geruch gelegentlich auch in mein Zimmer gelang, das war nicht schön.
Das Personal vor allem im Restaurant und in der Bar war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Dame an der Hotelrezeption könnte allerdings etwas freundlicher wirken. Das Essen war gut, mit vielen Vorteilen, aber auch wenigen Nachteilen eines Abendbuffets.
Wenn man die Insel erkunden will, braucht man ein Mietauto oder ein gutes Fahrrad. Viele Wandermöglichkeiten in der Nähe des Hotels habe ich nicht entdeckt. Ende September gab es drei Mal am Tag die Fähre nach Kavala. Der Fährhafen ist etwa 1,5 km vom Hotel entfernt. Kavala ist eine nette Stadt und einen Besuch wert.

Toilet broken ac leaking tons of water old beds hard as a rock! I used to go there all the time! They let the place go ! Dirty needs a lot of updating in rooms!

Otel mutfağı hem sabah kahvaltısı için hem de akşam yemeği için oldukça vasat durumda, ürünlerin lezzeti oldukça düşük durumda. Tatlılar ve tuzlular kalite ve lezzet konusunda vasatın altında. Otel içerisinde ürünler( su vs. ) oldukça pahalıydı. Otel mutfağının Yunan mutfağı ile alakası yok kesinlikle hayal kırıklığı. Plaj ve deniz çok çok iyi. Çalışanlar güler yüzlü ve ilgili. Akşam yemeği ve sabah kahvaltısı için suyun ücretli olması ve bu ücretin de yüksek fiyattan tahsis edilmesi tekrar tercih edilmeme sebeplerinden biri olabilir.
