Harbour Square Hotel

We had a wonderful stay and best of all I was able to take my little Yorkie.
Delicious breakfast and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Wonderful position overlooking the Old Harbour. Especially lying at the pool and gazing out at the sea.

Great location, couldn't be better really. Breakfasts were decent fare, if not spectacular. Service all round was attentive. Beautiful terrace, garden, and pool overlooking the bay. The room was comfortable and modern, with all the necessaries. The bed was a bit short (but this is only a concern if you're 1.9m +).

Great position for coastal view plus the Garden front pool. Staff very attentive and the food quality was excellent.
Our Room 3 was lovely with a sea view balcony and hot tub. Lack of aircon in the Room effected sleep quality as the Free Standing fan was too noisy to use at night.
The afternoon cream tea was a lovely gesture.

Great location in the heart of Hermanus. Close to restaurants, market, cliff paths. ( a must do ) . There is parking at the hotel. The room was good although noisy ( other guests in corridor) and overlooked the car park which was disappointing. Bathroom had a bath and shower. Nespresso machine and kettle. Highlights were the complimentary freshly baked scone and tea on the terrace overlooking the sea when we arrived and a welcome cocktail which we had before going out to dinner. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect location for a seaside getaway. Friendly and efficient staff. Harbour House Hermanus offers modern rooms in the new wing and The Manor house has a more cosy homely vintage feel. The breakfasts and meals at the Hotel restaurant were delicious, definitely a highlight. I can't wait for my next stay!

We stayed one night and really enjoyed it. The location couldn't be better and it was a pleasure to meet the manager and have a chat. We stayed in the building down the street which was no problem to us at all. Complimentary tea and scones were delicious.

Location, comfort, spaciousness, cleanliness and facilities were all delivered but more importantly they were enhanced by the strong level of service and constant smiles from the staff.

There are also added touches to ones stay at HH. The afternoon ritual of scones and tea was clearly very popular and it was no surprise to meet returning guests. We look forward to joining them!

Harbour House Hotel, in the best location in Hermanus, across a road overlooking the water and mountains, was a perfect end to our vacation. The Manager, Kevin Masson, is a constant presence and runs a tight ship. The accommodations were excellent. The staff were all professional, extremely friendly and helpful and pleased to help with any request. Breakfast is included, was delicious and served in an idyllic location. One could have a delicious lunch, also in the 'garden' and we had to drag ourselves away from the place to visit family. All in all - the hotel met and exceeded our expectations and I can not recommend it highly enough!!

Friendly staff and perfect location with sea views. Booking activities was easily done by the welcome staff. Good range for breakfast and enjoyable pool area.

We only got to stay here 1 night, but we will be back. The hotel is comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful and made our stay very special. We were able to explore the local area by foot due to the location of the hotel which makes life a lot easier than always having to jump in a car. If anyone is thinking of staying in Hermanus then this is the hotel for you!

From the moment we checked in until we checked out, everything was run smoothly. Reception staff were very friendly and professional. Room was very comfortable and had everything one could need. Really comfortable bed. The view of Walker Bay from the Hotel,s pool and breakfast area is breathtaking.

Reasonable price performance ratio however i had to exchange the room i was initialy offered whoch was extremely dark and only had a small window for a more suitable room. Annoying as a key asset is the beautiful view of zthe sea

We love Harbour House Hotel - it was a great location, a couple of minutes walk to everything we needed. The pool and outside seating area for breakfast had lovely views.

Our room was great and comfortable - had all the amenities we needed.

All the staff were friendly and helpful.

We would definitely stay here again.

Harbour House Hotel is a wonderful hotel directly to the ocean in beautiful Hermanus.We can really recommend this place.

great location and great views, beautiful room that was immaculate- with everything you could possibly need. Very attentive and helpful team lead by Kevin- a bit of a superstar who clearly cares about his customers. Highly recommjend, just wished we had stayed longer!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Harbour House. The team were friendly at check-in and breakfast, and it was the perfect location to enjoy 1 night in Hermanus. Our room was in the Harbour Square and was beautiful. Spacious, comfy bed and with a balcony view of the ocean. Only downside, we didn't stay long enough!

Very comfortable hotel with an immaculate room and a sea view. Great value and despite others comments breakfast was v good. They must have listened!
I agree on tip comments re breakfast included offer… v bizarre and wrong.

Easy to park. Only concern was getting back to the patio doors being wide open?

The hotel depends only on the position and the views of the manor house. However, most guests are lodged in seperate annexes without any charme. Restaurant with bistro atmosphere, breakfast ok, but cannot compete with similar hotels in the region. The no cash policy is not an indication of good service.Asking for tips on offers that include breakfast is a strange habit.. Very poor value for money.
