Lindos Royal Resort

A couple of the pools need refurbishing, missing tiles and grubby, the drinks at breakfast lunch and dinner could be managed better with more stations and staff to serve that many guests.
There were several guests including ourselves that had several issues with the Aircon in the rooms. The brand new apartment block we stayed in after paying for an upgrade was disappointing. Shower did not drain, no toilet roll holders, no towel rail/hooks. Toilet seat was loose, the only way the Aircon worked properly was to turn it off completely!!! Seriously !!
We had to ask for beach/pool towels & had to pay €10 euros deposit for each towel.
Make sure you request the 2 small water bottles in your room to be replenished each day ( or they won’t be )

Leider hatten wir mit einer anderen Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption (Bianca) eine deutlich weniger angenehme Erfahrung. Wir fühlten uns von ihr weder besonders freundlich betreut noch verabschiedet, was einen kleinen bitteren Nachgeschmack hinterlassen hat.
Am letzten Tag wurde unser Zimmer nicht wirklich gereinigt, nur unsere Handtücher zusammengelegt und das Bett glatt gestrichen. Die Mini Bar haben sie die letzten zwei Tage nicht mit Wasser aufgefüllt, aber wenn man freundlich fragt, bekommt man dies natürlich.

Secondo me c’è bisogno di una bella disinfestazione perché è pieno di cavallette ovunque che io che ho la fibbia una sera non riuscì ad entrare in casa

For us, the adults-only area was minimal with not enough available sunbeds. We found the poolside too crowded and opted to go to the beach where there are adequate good, free sunbeds attached to the hotel. The beach is down a steepish hill; we made a decision not to traipse up the hill for lunch and free drinks and opted to use a small beach bar, not connected to the hotel, for a small lunch and drinks. This made for a pleasant day; we were still in time for early drinks at the hotel pool bars where the staff provided great service. After dinner there was often good entertainment in one of the bars. The hotel could not fulfil our request for a double-bedded room. The air conditioning did not initially work and there was a crack in the balcony window. We did not particularly enjoy the buffet meals in the main restaurant; the food was of an acceptable, but not exciting, standard. Better were the three a la carte restaurants in which you can eat: Asian, Greek and Mediterranean that provided a restricted but tasty menu.

The cocktails aren’t great, they taste pretty bad, same with their Coca Cola - the beer does the job. The double beds are just two singles pushed together.

The whole hotel is tired and is screaming for an update. My parents who are 87 had no air con in their room for the whole stay. They were eventually given a fan :( My nephew, fiancee and baby had to move room 3 times due to ants everywhere - even in the babies nappy! (It was their wedding we were there for) The hotel is listed someplaces as a 5 star and others as a 4 star I would only give it a max of 3 star

La struttura è vetusta e avrebbe assoluto e urgente bisogno di una ristrutturazione sia nelle aree interne che esterne, oltre che nelle camere. Nel frattempo, però, si potrebbe sopperire con una buona manutenzione che purtroppo non c'è. Andrebbero fatte disinfestazioni per zanzare e insetti volanti, se si esce la sera si fanno incontri di blatte nei vialetti della struttura. La scarsa manutenzione comporta problemi anche nelle camere. Dalla prima sera abbiamo avuto scarafaggi in camera, li abbiamo trovati in corridoio e in bagno. Nonostante avessimo messo degli oggetti pesanti a chiudere gli scarichi di doccia e vasca, per altre due sere abbiamo dovuto fare i conti con gli scarafaggi che una volta sorpresi in bagno si infilavano in un'intercapedine tra il pavimento e il piatto doccia. La seconda sera in cui li abbiamo trovati abbiamo prontamente avvisato il personale in reception il quale ci aveva assicurato che avrebbero fatto intervenire il personale di housekeeping per verificare e risolvere il problema. Purtroppo (se un intervento c'è stato) non è stato risolutivo in quanto anche la sera prima della nostra partenza abbiano avuto la medesima esperienza con altri due scarafaggi. Andando a lamentarci di nuovo in reception, dopo ulteriori interventi di ragazzi sprovveduti armati di spray per mosche e zanzare (!), soltanto oltre la mezzanotte ci hanno offerto di cambiare camera. Peccato che le nostre figlia già dormissero e che il giorno successivo saremmo ormai partiti dopo una settimana di schifo...
Altro problema serio: la forte e persistente puzza di fogna nell'area di una delle piscine "adults only" dove ci sono anche i tavolini del bar (la puzza si sente anche dentro al bar ovviamente). Con conseguente impossibilità di rimanere in quell'area nemmeno la sera durante l'animazione.

This wasn’t a good value for the money. The hotel is advertised and priced as a 5 star hotel however the services and facilities are absolutely not even a 3 star hotel. I would never go back. Also many services were not available in the all inclusive package. The hotel is old and poorly maintained. The only two bars that offer all inclusive services are the two pool bars with instant drinks and coffee. Most facilities of the hotel are not air conditioned and smell like sewage. The beach bar is a pay bar. The lobby bar is a pay bar and only opens at 5 pm. No coffee machine in the entire resort except at the lobby bar which opens and 5 and is paid. The rooms have no kettle. No hair dryer and they smell of cigarrete. We were really disappointed.

Hotel powinien zwiększyć uwagę na housekeeping. Jest trochę do poprawy..

The entire resort needs to be renovated. It's not worth the money and definitely not a 5-star resort.

Old and dirty. Old used towels. Old rooms. Mosquitos everywhere. Air conditioning doesn’t work in most rooms. No safe! You have to pay for the safe in a 5 stars hotel!!
