Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.

Extremely friendly staff. The city was unexpectedly beautiful.

Highly recommended!
Pros:

The guy is the reception was the nicest guy I met in the all the hotels in Peru. Very kind and friendly. Good location and decent room. Loved the breakfast too.

Cons:

No air con but didn’t bother me.

Gem of a hotel
Pros:

Fantastic small boutique hotel in a great location for central Arequipa attractions restaurants bars and cafes.
The staff were friendly and helpfull in every way and spoke good English
The room was comfortable with a great shower
Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious.
I will definitely be back staying here again

This is a little gem of a boutique hotel
The location is excelent for all central attractions restaurants and cafes.
The staff were friendly and helpfull in every way and spoke excellent English.
Room was quiet and comfortable with great shower.
Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent
Next time I'm back in Arequipa I will definitely be staying here

Cons:

Just nit picking as coffee was free and available in reception but would be nice to have coffee and kettle in the room

Pros:

La Amabilidad de José en recepcion siempre presto, con muy buenas recomendaciones para disfrutar de stios maravillos. El chico Venezolano, creo que Victor ? en el restaurante nos deleitó con buenos manjares al desayuno ademas de una muy buena emplatada y presentación.
La habitacion amplia, limpia, con una cama que permitió el descanso. Baño con buena ducha y muy limpio. Las terrazas del hotel nos brindo una bella vista y un buen espacio de relax.

Cons:

El hotel esta a unos pasos de la plaza princioal y la calle es muy transitada desde muy temprano por los tours y los locales comerciales que surten al amanecer. Lo que hace el ruido del tráfico se siente, te moleste y te interrumpa el descanso

Zentral gelegenes, freundliches Hotel mit gemütlicher Dachterrasse und exzellentem Frühstück

Zentral gelegenes Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal, netter Empfang mit vielen Tipps bezüglich Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt, exzellentes und individuell frisch zubereitetes Frühstück, sehr bequeme Betten. Zwei Dachterrassen mit wunderbarem Ausblick und gemütlicher Rückzugsmöglichkeit in Hängekörben zum Chillen, Lesen, etc. Nur einen Block weiter befindet sich eine Garage, in welcher für kleines Geld das Auto bewacht abgestellt werden kann

Cons:

Zimmer leider relativ klein mit wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten - ständig muß irgendetwas zur Seite geräumt werden, um Schränke öffnen zu können. Hellhöriges Zimmer mit gemeinsamem Luftabzugsschacht zum Bad des Nachbarzimmers, so daß die dortige Badezimmer-Akustik komplett mitgehört werden kann.

Pros:

Everything great, but I thought the breakfast was especially nice. Smiling service, juices and coffee at your table, very fresh bread with two kinds of jam, and 3 main choices including omelette with choice of ingredients or two local cuisine offerings. The people are very nice and helpful, I would definitely choose this again. Also they provided a small amount of strong sin block among toiletries,

Perfect stay!
Pros:

I had the perfect stay at Los Tambos. The location is great, staff are excellent, the breakfast is exceptional and the rooms are comfortable.
I used the service to and from the airport which was prompt and the drivers lovely.
The observatory is also a great space.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arequipa.
