Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.

Excelente ubicación al lado de la Plaza de Armas. Desayuno servido en mesa con distintas opciones muy elaboradas para escoger. Cama muy cómoda y amplia. Buena presión de agua en el baño. Terraza con vistas a las torres de la catedral.

We had a wonderful stay at Los Tambos. What stood out most was the warm, genuine service. The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. One staff member went out of his way for us: he gave us great tips on where to find the best buñuelos and chifa in town. When we ordered soup for delivery and the restaurant forgot the spoons, he helped us get some right away. Small gestures like that really make a difference.
The room was cozy and comfortable. It stayed warm at night, which we appreciated in Arequipa. The mattress was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with nice hot water.
The breakfast was a highlight. We loved the caprese sandwich and the fresh papaya juice. It was also a lovely touch to find pan de tres puntas, the traditional Arequipa bread.
We'd happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Arequipa!

The staff were friendly and attentive. Reception was manned by bilingual english/spanish speakers at all hours who were able to assist us when we had some issues.
