Geboekte kamer was niet ter beschikking. Een upgrade kamer werd aangeboden, maar de Airco in deze kamer was buiten dienst.

Prima hotel. Heel mooi en sfeervol ingericht: lobby, terras en zwembad/ spa.
Super goed verzorgd ontbijt.
De gym/fitness, dat slaat echt nergens op. Je verwacht deze vlakbij het zwembad met dezelfde kwaliteit, maar nee, deze zit ergens weggestopt in een gang bij de hotelkamers en is gelijk ook de waskamer. Zeer teleurstellend! Ik snap nu waarom ik geen foto’s van de gym op de site kon terugvinden.
Gesitueerd in een vreselijke ruimte en weinig typen apparaten beschikbaar.
Hèèl vèèl keuze bij het ontbijt, alles wat je kunt denken staat daar, meer dan genoeg koffiekoeken, brood, zelfs taartjes.
Ook hèèl vriendelijk personeel en supervlotte bediening aan tafel bij het avondeten.
Eigenlijk kan ik niets verzinnen wat ons tegenviel, alles was proper en net, mooie kamer....

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received on the night of 11 May. The receptionist on duty displayed behaviour that was completely unacceptable — rude, arrogant, dismissive, and entirely unwilling to help.
We have stayed at Van der Valk hotels across Belgium for years and have always appreciated the high standard of service your brand is known for. Unfortunately, this location — and specifically this staff member — fell shockingly below those standards.
The conduct we experienced was not only unprofessional but disrespectful. It left us feeling unwelcome and undervalued as guests. Because of this incident, we will not be booking at this hotel again, and we will be reconsidering our loyalty to this branch altogether.
