Pros:

The best hotel in Belfast. Small hotel with a big heart.

Have stayed in Merchant, Grand Central, Europa, Premier Inn. None of them come close to Tara Lodge.

Clean, friendly staff, all the facilities you could want, fantastic breakfast.

First time we've stayed since Covid. The standard has bot dropped at all.

You're staff are all great. Particular mention to Ricky. He's a gem. He's worth every penny to the hotel

Perfect for a weekend exploring Belfast.
Pros:

Very friendly staff. We arrived very early, but they were happy to look after our bags for the day whilst we went exploring. Very nice breakfast. Comfortable and very well equipped room. The fresh milk in the fridge was unusual, and a nice touch. Breakfast was very good. Juice, fruit, pastries, yoghurt, cereals, etc. from the buffet, and a good choice of hot food from the menu. Very nice bacon! If you want to be right in the centre of town you might find it a little far. We were happy with it though, as we like a walk and were near the university, where we going to a gig. It didn't stop us from exploring the city centre on day one, and going a little further afield in the evening, or walking to the Titanic quarter, via St George's Market, on day two. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars nearby, including the Empire Music Hall. It's also quite close to the botanic gardens. The bus service in Belfast is very good. A bonus is you are just around the corner from Botanic station, which runs a fast and cheap service to Sydenham station, from where If you have light or hand luggage, it's only a 10 minute walk into the terminal at Belfast City Airport. Another bonus: the Spar around the corner stocks the full range of Tayto crisp flavours. Bring a bigger case.

Nothing
