A very pleasant hotel and Spa but is a bit pretentious in what it's trying to be. They need to keep it simple. The rooms are good and simple, the food is good, the facilities are good. There is no need for them to go with Astrologer who sits there all evening in the mosquitos and a high end shop that sits empty.

Very strategic location, the atmosphere was superb, an economical friendly hotel. Room was simply superb, clean and tidy with nice decorations. Lots of activities arranged for the customers by hotel management . The rate was very reasonable for the service offered to us.

Very homely and natural

Stayed 2 nights at Sparsa Thiruvanamalai and it was a truly memorable experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the property felt just like home. Surrounded by nature, it has a beautiful eco-friendly vibe. There are plenty of activities for guests, such as pottery and bullock cart rides, which made the stay even more special. The food was good, rooms were spacious and clean, and overall it was a unique experience. Definitely recommend this place when visiting Thiruvanamalai.

Location and ambiance was good,
Buffet breakfast was great,typical South Indian dishes,the staff were humble,helpful and courteous .I liked very much the greenery and stone construction cottages.
I give full marks to hospitality.

I pen these words even as I am relaxing in the cool comfort of my weekend cottage at Sparsa Resort at Thiruvannamalai !,

As one who has has been a traveller to Thiruvannamalai in pursuit of spiritual awakening,
Ramanashramam has become a sort of haven to know " Who I am ,"
for how many years I dont recall .

I have always stayed at the Ashram guest house in the past which would be clean and spartan in utilities but quite comfortable, but with No ac facilities.

In summer it can be quite difficult for Sr citizens to manage and choosing the cooler months of November to February would make more sense .

But then its also a peak season , when foreign devotees and travellers come calling to Thiruvannsmalai and getting accommodation at Ashram can be difficult.

So, I became a seeker of a hotel or a resort to stay at my convenient time with Ac comfort , a few years ago for a perfect place to stay during my annual pilgrimage to Thiruvannamalai !

I am glad I did find the best place then, to stay with family and friends called the " Sparsa Resort "

" Change " is understood as the only thing that is permanent in this World or Prapancham !

But time appears to stand still
If one gets into an euphoric state
thanks due to Immediate people you meet or your finding a Perfect place to stay ,that vibrates in resonance with your persona.

I pen these words even as I relax in the cool comfort of my weekend retreat cottage at Sparsa Resort at Thiruvannamalai, where to me time still stands still .

The warm welcome & friendly Cool Comfort with sathvic food and above all the hospitality of GM LakshmiNaraynan and Chef Mathivanan and their staff hasn't changed at all !,

As stated above change is the permanent thing in the world and
Thiruvannamalai town too is no exception to the changes .

These days the town witnesses a
sea of humanity moving in from.other states like Andhra and with that comes growth leading to to huge number of bustling cars, trucks, buses , motor bikes ,shops ,shops and more shops and new structures in temples forms not to forget huge commercial buildings too that are now adorning every nook and corner of this small town

I must confess that this once a quite spiritual town has become yet another buzzing commercial centre with spirituality getting lost somewhere amidst all this buzzing!!.

Herein comes forth , The Sparsa Resort a wonderfully crafted resort amongst verdant fully grown trees
well manicured lawns ,a swimming
Pool and backed by a good 24 hour restaurant stand by power !

The cottages built of granite blocks fully air-conditioned and with all modern comfort creatures
ensures, one to retire to after a tiring trips to the famous temples or Ahrams that abound in the busy town roads Of Thiruvannamalai.

Sparsa has been around for some years now serving the devotees to this spiritual town , offering the best accommodation with abundant population of peacocks while offering other activities to travellers like Yoga ,Ayurvedic massage , recreation centre like any other resort but with one fundamental rule to be followed implicitly and strictly - No alcohol No drugs policy .

They have 36 deluxe rooms and 2 super deluxe rooms and one suite .
With tariff ranging form 7500+ tax to Rs 13000+ tax

But one needs to book well in advance to ensure they get to stay here and enjoy their genuine hospitality in star comfort - like home away from home but far away from the ever increasing maddening crowds and plethora off all hues of vehicles but yet close to the Ashrams for persueing one's spiritual visits !

100% worth of it. Especially the Resturant food taste was amazing, Swimming pool, Astrolger, Hand craft, Spa, recreation room for kids, Tea Kadi, Poo kadi etc.,

This was our 3rd visit to this place. The moment you enter the premises, you feel the positive energy of this holy place slowly engulfing you. The staff is very helpful, courteous. The space inside offers adequate privacy as well as ample opportunities to keep yourself engaged. The food is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. They have improved vs last time, but more options could make it a little better. Delicious food, but options are limited. Breakfast, however, was lavish.

I wanted to share my appreciation as I have been visiting Sparsa Resort for the past 22 years. The experiences I receive each time are mostly consistent and always pleasant.

The rooms are clean and comfortable 🛏️, and your staff are extremely friendly, making me feel right at home. The food is delicious with plenty of options to choose from 🍽️. The quiet environment is perfect for someone like me who travels solo to Tiruvannamalai for a spiritual experience 🧘‍♂️.

We enjoyed the hotel gardens, lovely pool and room which despite being basic, was clean and comfortable. Bathroom needs updating though.

Enjoyed the food in the vegetarian restaurant especially the thali we had for lunch one day which was excellent.

Would have liked if there was some entertainment in evenings as there was nothing to do after dinner. No bar as hotel doesn't serve alcohol. There is a games room which we visited and played table tennis.

On the whole it was fine for 1 night stay

This is an amazing holiday resort. I wish we had a couple of more days to spend here. Staff were very courteous and food was great too.
