Great views, location great. Restaurant lovely food. Staff all friendly. Pools, sauna, etc were great
Advertised tennis court was basically a car park and not possible to move all cars, get nets to play. Gym was very poor & should really be actual gym not well-being room. Restaurant very expensive. Breakfast not advertised but was extra £8 if wanted any cooked options.
The property was in a great position with lots of amenities. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

I would strictly avoid this hotel. Aside from a nice view, our stay was a stressful, overpriced, and thoroughly unpleasant experience from start to finish.
Exhausting Check-In & Dirty Room: After a 7-hour drive from London, we were forced to wait 2 hours just to check in at an unusually late 4:00 PM. Despite the long delay—which staff claimed was needed for cleaning—our room was dirty, complete with hair left behind in the bathroom.
Terrible Food & Service: The dining experience was completely rigid. We were refused food upon arrival and told to wait until 5:00 PM for dinner service, leaving us starving. When we finally ate, the food was old, the dessert was stale, and the waitstaff had no idea what they were actually serving.
No Time to Relax: We were constantly forced to rush. Because dinner was delayed, we had to hurry through our meal just to use the paid spa facilities before they closed early at 8:00 PM. To top it off, check-out was unreasonably early (10:30–11:00 AM), turning a single night into a chaotic race against the clock.
No Sleep & Loud Noise: The walls offered zero sound insulation—we could hear everything happening outside and barely slept a wink.
We paid premium prices for cold service, bad food, poor hygiene, and zero relaxation. Never again
Location, views, steam room were as advertised.
Although parking is “included”, I received a 100 pound parking ticket and the hotel could not get it reversed and would not cover it. Surprising for s 4* hotel, and unique in Cornwall. Be careful.

Amazing breakfast, inhouse bakery so much choice. Lovely fruit offer and fresh smoothies and chia puddings, too much for one sitting! Spa - biggest jacuzzi ever, great steam room and lovely pool, great facilities, well maintained. Room - basic but perfectly adequate for our needs - a tad warm but I'd rather be greener than use aircon, firm beds. Good bathroom facilities - wet room, great showers. You can hear other guests when your room has an adjoining door but it did not affect our stay. Front of house and restaurant staff were friendly and relaxed, we really liked the hotel's vibe and enjoyed dinner - burger and fish and chips with the obligatory glass of champagne...sitting on the terrace looking over the wild garden to the sea with an excellent gin cocktail in hand was a joy!
We should have used the fan for night sleeping, room was warm but that was our choice not to use it. Our room was facing the entrance near to reception - you could hear some traffic noise. If that bothers you, you need to go sea facing. It was not an issue for us.

Breakfast was super, plenty of choice and a good time range to attend.

Room was comfortable, great idea home made biscuits with tea and coffee facilities. Delighted to have the fan in the room as the weather was so hot.
The spa treatment area could be improved, a restful place after treatment would be ideal. Limited space in waiting area.
The staff, location were all excellent. The breakfast was good. Very nice atmosphere and attention to detail was excellent.
The shower was very good however, not sure about it being a wet room as the water went all over the toilet. We also think it would be a good addition to have a small fridge in the room as you provide tea, coffee, biscuits but we had to go downstairs each morning for milk.
Nice property probably best suited for people with children although stayed in August so to be expected .
However thought spa area quite uncomfortable as no where comfy to sit more like an area to use facilities quickly and be off rather than relax
Had deserts - weren’t great , quite sickly , like were trying too hard however I quickly located The Scarlet hotel their sister adult only one and went for lunch and to enjoy the bar and areas and that was in a different league . So many beautiful areas to sit and admire the view . Zen gardens absolutely stunning however was reflected in the room rate being double.
Would I stay again possibly but much preferred the Scarlett . Drinks same price . Scarlett food absolutely amazing

Very well equipped for children and dogs. Amazing setting and good access to the beautiful beach below.
The hotel staff were warm and welcoming and the hospitality staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

The rooms were on the smaller side and a little tired. Would have been ideal to have a fridge in the room for baby’s milk, etc., and a few more hooks to hang wet towels and beach bits, but other than that there wasn’t really anything to mark it down for.
