Nice stay
Pros:

I liked the location the staff are so nice very friendly there are 2 hotels one is in front the beach and the other one is behind they are not connected you need to walk outside to change hotels but I like that you can use both amenities the pool and restaurant for breakfast

Cons:

Apart that the 2 hotels are not connected with each others it would be better if there is a inside connection also the breakfast we found a few flies and the food was not covered. There is no lift so it’s better to book a lower floor so you don’t have problems with the bags

Great location to relax and unwind
Pros:

Fact it was literally in ocean, very friendly staff, great food in Sexy Fish restaurant, amazing massage, super pool, very attentive security for keeping things safe and harrassing locals off

Cons:

Rooms are getting old: leaking roof for the cottage terrrace - hopefully fixing it during the closong time, a little rat wondered in and out from the room.ome night - hopefully also adding a door stopper for that

Beste plek om qua locatie in Nungwi en omstreken
Pros:

De ligging was subliem i.v.m. de getijden was het zo fijn dat je gewoon op het strand kon blijven liggen. Je merkt pas als je er bent dat dit bij veel hotels niet kan. Prachtig rif voor de deur waar veel te zien is. Het hotel is zeer smaakvol ingericht. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. En het beste restaurant ( wel wat duurder) uit de regio

Cons:

Bijna niks. Enige minpuntje als ik toch iets moet noemen is de mooie bamboe ligbedden bij het strand kun je niet verstellen dus alleen in lig stand.

Modern and clean hotel in Nungwi
Pros:

We’re staying at Z2. The building is new so the room are very confortable and the pool area is really beautiful.
But it’s not directly connected to the Z hotel where the other pool, front beach and breakfast are so you need to walk in the streets each time you want to go from one to the other one. It’s not far, 2min walk but it means you need to fully dress again and go through the gates and streets every time.
So I would recommend staying at the Z hotel (which looks like it has been renovated) which has the direct access to the beach and restaurant.
The sea just in front is good for swimming, even though there are still a lot of Masais and vendors wandering around. The beach is semi private. It’s nice to have private sunbeds to be on the beach.

Cons:

I think that even if the hotel is nice, the price is a bit exaggerated for what it is. It’s just not worth that much for just a room and breakfast.
Also I wish the Z2 would have been connected to the main hotel so not to feel a bit outside all the time.
We tried the sexy fish, which was good but again not worth the prices they do.

Close to perfect
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Z2 in Nungwi. Since we had enjoyed staying at the Z Hotel at the seafront a couple of years earlier, we had good expectations about the general qualities of the hotel. But we had some doubts, since we knew we would be without the seaview. However, it turned out to be quite perfect. It was far more quiet, and the garden area around the pool and the restaurant was beautiful. We were welcomed by Amani (a little uncertain about the name) and a staff that showed us a friendliness that was amazing, during our whole stay. Always friendly greetings, and always smiling. That goes for everyone: in the reception, the room-maids, in the restaurant and the guards at the gate. The breakfast was nice, just like the one at the Z, and also the Indian cuisine when we chose to eat in the hotel restaurant for dinner. There were a lot of restaurants in near proximity of the hotel. Most mornings we had an early swim at the beach, which is very close, with private sunbeds and pool by the sea for free use.
We would be happy to stay at Z2 once again.

Cons:

The furniture on the room's balcony was more elegant than comfortable

I really liked the location and the rooms

Cons:

I didn’t like that the hotel has two separate facilities and that to go to the other ones you literally have to step on the streets, I feel like that’s not disclosed. I feel like it should have at least an elevator. My other issues are with the surroundings.
