The rooms were very nice and the bar area was comfortable and spacious. When I checked in, the room I was given was already occupied, which was very disconcerting. Then upon checking it, we were charged for breakfast that we did not have. Both things were quickly taken care of by the very helpful and apologetic staff.
Seems to a (former?} student dorm at the college campus. Easy walk to the center area of the town
Good location, breakfast had many choices
The rooms are converted student accommodations. Spacious with personal bathrooms. Convenient location from main downtown area and close to Botanical Gardens.
Adequate electrical outlets for electronic devices. No TV. Hair dryer available from reception. Friendly accommodating staff. Lots of parking.
It is a very clean college dorm. There are several toilets and shower rooms and we did not have to wait to use them. The surrounding was quiet and the location is very good.
Great place to stay. Rooms seem like prior dorm rooms but are very new.
Great place. It was wonderful to have a place that was open 24/7. In the middle and heart of the town, so very walkable.
Liked the spacious room.
Literally a college dorm that is used as a hotel when students are out for summer. Shares parking with the botanical gardens. They are free and worth a visit.
Good value for money. Clean and spacious.
The bathrooms were dirty and out of toilet paper and the showers also were not clean.
Overall, we liked room and services.
urine smell in bathroom

A very modern and clean hotel. All sites of interest to us were in easy walking distance of the hotel. Many open spaces and brilliant views of the fjord from the bedroom window. A short 15 minute walk to the harbour and then caught a boat to see whales (we saw three species). Also an easy walk to the church, high street and old town.
The staff was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. I wish that we would have known in advance that room was on second floor without elevator, as my travel companion had difficulty with the stairs.
Comfortable beds. Good location near the city center and next to the swimming pool.
Too few showers in the common areas. The last floor, for example, has only 1 shower and 2 WCs for 10 rooms (some of which are triple rooms) which is more than insufficient at busy times (morning, evening).
Felt like we were in a college dorm room. Noisy environment. Staff was not great, more like we were a nuisance.
A large hotel located next to the bay. The newly completed right wing has a novel layout, comfortable accommodation and sea views.
We were originally assigned a student room with bathroom down the hall. We asked for a better room and were transferred to the "hotel" side of the complex. The front desk staff was kind and very informative, almost entertaining. We enjoyed the area.
