A wonderful stay a picturesque location surrounded by nature (a birder’s paradise) and central to town center.
Pros:

Amazing location close to all major parts of town. LOVED having northern fulmars nesting right outside our window. Well appointed property, family suite was great with the loft, parking was easy and free, staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

Would have liked fitness center to be open for longer hours.

Gute Unterkunft als Zwischenstopp.
Pros:

Als Zwischestop ok, das Hotel hat einen alten und einen neuen Teil. Die Zimmer im älteren Teil sind einfach aber ok. Das Essen und das Frühstück waren sehr gut.

Cons:

At £300/€347 for a single night the 3* Hotel Vík í Mýrdal represents poor value. The rooms in the old part of the hotel are gloomy, very cramped and badly decorated. Breakfast was just adequate. The public areas were suffused with cheap air freshener, presumably to mask an even less pleasant smell. I would not go back.

Sehr modern und sauber. Top modern ausgestattet.
Blick aus dem Zimmer zum Meer und zu den Klippen.
Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
Nochmals vielen Dank für die Eiswürfel um meinen dicken Fuss zu kühlen !!!
Abendessen im Restaurant sehr gut.

Pros:

You cannot beat this view! The room overlooked the Black Sand Beach and it was awesome! The staff sere great and the room was clean!

The breakfast was good but it would be nice to have a bigger spread to choose from.
