Super location, comfortable and ability to self-cater for meals
Pros:

The location was perfect for us - near but not right in the city centre (where things can get a little mad) but, for us, easy walking distance to most of the key sites of interest in Amsterdam. Tram and metro stops are also very close (< 5 minutes walk). Our host, Fokko, was lovely and responded to/looked after all of our needs and questions. We also enjoyed having a kitchenette and being able to self-cater.

Cons:

The house is quite narrow so lots of steps if you are on the 3rd floor (but this it true of all houses in Amsterdam and a few extra steps never hurt anyone)!

Great location and lovely balcony
Pros:

Great staff member who checked us in, carrying our bags up the steep stairs and changed our bedding to that we booked. Very clean, great location and unexpected service each day. Despite a very small room, it had a great balcony and was ample space for the amount of time we were there. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Stanza bellissima super attrezzata, romantico balconcino. Posizione ottima tranquilla poco distante dal centro e a pochi minuti a piedi dal quartiere De Pijp pieno di vita e locali.
Consigliatissimo!

Cons:

Scale ripidissime (tipiche olandesi) sconsigliato a viaggiatori con valige troppo grandi!

Wir genossen unseren Kurzaufenthalt in Amsterdam, die Erlebnisse wogen die Erfahrungen im Hotel auf.
Pros:

Die Betten waren sehr angenehm, das Zimmer war sauber.

Cons:

Im Bad rann Wasser aus der Leitung, die Dusche führte jeweils zu einer Überschwemmung, ab 11 Uhr abends gab es kein Warmwasser mehr, Hotelmanager erwies sich sehr unflexibel mit Bezug auf eine mögliche Verschiebung des Kurzaufenthaltes, bzw. reagierte weder auf Mails noch Telefonanrufe.

MARAVILHOSA!!!
Pros:

Eu gostei de tudo, pois a acomodação era excelente, a localização muito boa e o anfitrião muito simpático e prestativo.
Certamente, eu ficaria novamente nesse apartamento e recomendo para todos que queiram visitar Amsterdam.

l'accueil de l'hôte était très agréable

les escaliers ! très raides pour porter les valises au dernier étage ainsi que les descendre mais cela n'a pas impacté notre séjour pour autant!

Beautiful accommodation and right next to the canal!
Pros:

Amstel Corner was a dream! We had the most fantastic stay, Fokko is wonderful and his place stunning. Best of all the location too! Helped make our first time in Amsterdam so special.
