Good location. Close to the beach and town centre.

Poor noise isolation.
All good
Location
All staff were helpful and welcoming and easily approachable for all questions and queries. Breakfast was always good, with barely any wait time to be seated and served, and dinner was just as great. The pool area was somewhat small but very relaxing.
Daily cost of parking was perhaps a little unexpected (£10 per day) but in all fairness, it was good to have a near guaranteed space to park when exploring Cornwall and returning back to the hotel, so it's hardly a complaint and more something that visitors might wish to be aware of prior to booking.
Staff were fantastic, attentive but not overbearing. Facilities were clean. Location and view were great! Brilliant price, especially for summer holidays season.
My stay would have been slightly better if onsite parking were free. The £10 charge was the only part that dampened the visit.
Close to Fistral beach
Expensive bar
Nice room with comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water and water pressure was good. The view from the room was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was good. Nice quiet area.
Shower in the bathroom was ridiculously small. Neither of us is large and we struggled to wash in it. It was unfortunate that the nesting seagulls were incredibly noisy. No a/c or fan so you had the choice of sleeping with the window open to get some air and being kept awake by the seagulls or closing the window to cut down on the seagull’s noise and suffocating. Not the hotel’s fault as they can’t move the seagulls but would probably have thought twice about booking a sea room if we’d realised we’d be ‘serenaded’ until 10pm and from 3am onwards. It was further from the town than we thought - probably a 30 minute walk - and hilly. Gym was shut. Hotel seemed to cater mainly to older individuals on coach tours.
Location fabulous. Breakfast good staff very nice. Friendly. Bistro 60 at hotel good food.
Never been to a hotel who didn’t make our bed or put a hoover around. Staircases needed a hoover as well. Generally looked tired
Staff are very nice breakfast was good, location was suitable.
That they service guiness in cans it's better from the tap.
Price we had to pay for my two small dogs £15 p.d. was to experience. I've been to other hotels where they charge £10 for both dogs. I've already paid over £500 for the hotel room, and to pay £90 for dogs was too much.
If you reduced the dog price and took away car park experience, I'd come back as you have great staff.
I'd helped one of your staff as she was being verbally abused by a travel agent that's not right either.
The travel agency needs to have respect for your staff.
That's all thanks
Paul
Nice views
We had a lovely stay at the Pentire Hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and had a superb sea view room overlooking Fistral Beach. When we arrived our room wasn't ready as check-in was from 4pm but we were able to use the facilities so made use of the indoor pool which was lovely and the bar area. We then took a short walk to Pentire Beach. I room was ready at 4pm, we had room 208. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. We also had a large bathroom. The floorboards were a bit creaky from the rooms but this is understandable given the age of the hotel. The Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room were perfect and if we ran out of anything reception were more than happy to give us more. The breakfast was absolutely fine too and we had 3 courses each morning which consisted of cereals, then a choice of cooked breakfast and then croissants. We didn't eat in the hotel in the evening so cannot comment on the evening meal but going by the breakfast I am sure that would be nice too. All of the staff in the hotel were really friendly and happy, always smiling. We would definitely return to this hotel.
There wasn't anything I didn't like apart from the seagulls being so noisy first thing in the morning but there's nothing anyone can do about that, it's their home too :-)
