One night stay
Pros:

Nice friendly staff, bar and bistro were great.
Everything has improved since we last visited approximately 4 years ago.

Cons:

Hotel didn't receive our early check in request or gluten free breakfast request.
False fire alarm at 7.15am they said was a shower fault but we smelled cigarette smoke.

still good price for hotel with swimming pool but in clear need of TLC
Pros:

location near fistral beach, good view as on hill though our room was overlooked so had to close curtains. swimming pool

Cons:

hotel in clear need of TLC, no attention to detail, poor signage. Lock on the changing room in swimming pool inexistent so my partner opened a door and a woman was getting changed. Gym was out of use until further notice and we hadn't been informed before booking. Ceiling light was dusty, not a great mattress, cupboard door was banging so we had to leave it open and block it with something. the bin and the hand wash looked like there were just bought at a cheap shop... you could expect this from a studio you rent on airbnb but not a hotel.

Sehr ruhige Lage mit tollem Blick aufs Meer.

Cons:

Mobiliar (Tische und Stuhl) in die Haare gekommen, insgesamt wirkte das ganze Haus recht lieblos. Es wird allerdings peu à peu ausgebessert. Personal war gemischt mit schnippischem Ton. Sonntags mit ÖPNV nicht erreichbar. Wände dünn und hellhörig

Great town average dated hotel.
Pros:

Great location close to the beach. Some attempts have been made to modernise the property.

Cons:

Inside and outside the property looks unloved and requires a major overhaul. Check in was very disorganised and whilst the pool itself is nice the room is filthy with evidence of leaks, rust and damp everywhere. The hotel has so much potential but needs investment to realise it.

Good option for a couple of nights.
Pros:

Location and hotel staff were excellent, the pool was good… warm and an excellent option if the weather takes a turn for the worse. Pet friendly and easy parking (paid extra)… on premises bar and restaurant are also a plus in case you just want to stay in for the night.

Cons:

Room size, amenities and comfort. The absolute worst mattress I ever slept in, the curtains let a lot of light in and there was no fan… even with windows open until late, once they were closed, overnight it got warm and uncomfortable.
