Wonderful stay in a great seaside location.
Pros:

Fantastic location. Lovely to have a swimming pool which was well maintained and a perfect temperature to swim in. The staff were really lovely and very welcoming.

Cons:

Our room was a little hot during the night, otherwise a wonderful stay.

Great hotel friendly staff and nice and clean. The early morning alarm 🚨 f the seagulls tapping on the window came free.

Cons:

Booked so we could relax in the pool, wasn’t told it was closed due to awaiting a part until we had checked in.

Pros:

Large room with a sea view - They seem to be starting to renovate some of the rooms. The bar area was good, nice ambience to it. Breakfast was good, nice selection on offer.

Cons:

If a fair way out of town - we like to walk, but it was still a 15/20 minute walk

Budget friendly stay , needs a cooler in the room
Pros:

The property is easily accessible and not to far a drive from Newquay town -

Cons:

The bedroom was very hot and we had to have the window open constantly which then we had the seagulls screaming at the window. We also felt the rooms were not as seen in pics and The sea view means you can just about see the sea

Disappointing
Pros:

The staff were friendly & the location was good.

Cons:

Very very tired. Overpriced for what we had. Our room had stained carpets & walls, uncomfortable bed & hard pillows. The room stank of unpleasant cleaning products. Cheapest TV, no smart TV. Only one restaurant open & couldn’t get a table at the time we wanted, pool closed. Wouldn’t go back here.

Not the best night sleep.
Pros:

The breakfast options were good, the value for money was good. All the staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Room amenities were good and clean.

Cons:

The floors were very creaky and I was kept up throughout the night from other guests walking down the corridor.

Pool was out of order which was a shame, but staff kindly let me check in earlier and park for free to make up for this, which was appreciated.

I stayed in a single room, so it’s probably not as nice as the standard rooms, there was no heater in the bathroom so it was freezing cold.

I wouldn’t recommend staying in a single room, definitely try to get a room on the end rather than by the stairs!

Really great but please turn the heating down 😂

Views and staff. Especially Jim on the desk at night. He really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a comfortable as possible
