The breakfast is amazing, and so is the swimming pool.
Room was very clean and comfortable with a good breakfast offering
Car parking was a problem as too small.

In good location
Super
The staff are very freindly and our breakfast was very good.
The pool are is also very good.
It suited us very well for one night and our dog was also made to feel welcome.
There was nothing we didn't like.
The fact it was in Newquay
There was 1 member of staff on reception that was booking everyone in,opening the door to the pool, serving on the bar and doing everything else. The door the the pool wouldn't open after we were buzzed in so we had to get the people in the pool to let me in. The pool towels were so small it just about fit on my head. But things got worse the next day....we went down to breakfast just to be told we had to eat in the bar as we had our dog with us which is actually an emotional support dog for my partner. We were told the night before that he would be allowed in with us but the man seating us refused to let us in. His whole attitude and body language was very rude and aggressive so obviously my partner responded in a likewise fashion. This " man" then proceeded to tell my partner we would not be staying agin tonight even if we had a booking! We sat in the "dog friendly" bar where there were no tables at all made ready to receive guests. The man threw some cutlery on the table for us making my autistic grandson jump. We had to find our own bowl with sugars in and had to keep walking from 1 room to another to get food and drink. As my partner was getting his coffee in the other room I was looking around at the stains on the floor when I noticed a toenail right next to our table where we were eating. After walking backwards and forwards several times we finally finished eating and went back to the room to get changed to have 1 more swim before we left. As I was getting changed i noticed a yellow stain the the side of the bed on the sheet which had also stained the floor. I felt physically sick knowing that I had slept in that the night before and was mad at myself for not checking the bed before I fell exhausted into it after a very long day. It was the most awful time I've ever spent in a hotel. I went and told the receptionist and actually burst into tears. I went back to the room and packed as quickly as I could.
Staff were very nice.
