Pros:

This is a vintage classic vintage old school hotel, very nice. The rooms are nice and the breakfast and view from the restaurant are both enloyable.

Cons:

There was very loud elevator work being done just above our room, very early in the morning, lasting for many hours. While I understand sometimes work needs to be done, we were not informed, and when we complained, we were offered a free drink in the bar. We did not feel this was adequate compensation because we we unable to be in the room during construction. They would not offer anything else to compensate.

Wonderful Hotel, Great Location!
Pros:

This is a beautiful, historic hotel in an excellent location. The room was very comfortable and had a fantastic view of the sea. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had every amenity. Breakfast was included and was terrific, everything you could want, and was served in a lovely room with outdoor space facing the sea. The staff was excellent, accommodating in every way. There is a small museum on the lower level housing artifacts and remnants of the original Spanish Walls that once surrounded the city. We found it fascinating. Easy walking distance to restaurants, the Duomo and other historic sites. Highly recommend and would definitely return!
