Tambo del Inca is truly a 5 star resort.. Beautiful dining room with excellent staff.
Amazing property! Close to Urubamba and centrally located in the Sacred Valley
We had high hopes for Tambo del Inka but were disappointed. Upon arrival, they couldn’t find our reservation and didn’t tell us—leaving us waiting for 45 minutes. The room was far from the lobby and smelled musty (they did attempt to fix it). The hot tub jets were so strong you couldn’t sit in it comfortably, and others had the same issue. We also weren’t informed that the on-site Farm Table restaurant required advance booking, which was frustrating given we only had one night. While breakfast was great, overall the stay felt poorly communicated and not up to the level we expected from a luxury property. Looking back, we wish we had just stayed another night at Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel or gone straight back to the JW Marriott Cusco, which was truly exceptional.
Beautiful place in the center of Vale Sagrado
Great property
PHENOMENAL! This incredible resort sets the standard for 5 star luxury! Pricey but absolutely worth it!
awsome
Beautiful!!!! Loved having the baby alpaca in the lobby at night for the guests to pet and take photos with. Service and food were top notch. We didn’t want to leave! Also enjoyed the activities they had planned daily. My husband and I enjoyed painting the ceramic bulls. Pool was beautiful and warm!
If you can’t do the Belmond in Valle Segrado, this is the next best choice. Albiet an older property, the grounds are lovely and to our great delight an alpaca on site. Our only disappointment was the concierge’s service, as this trip to MP was all new for us and we found out later there is more to see around Valle Segrado which was strangely never mentioned/suggested. In fact, the concierge couldn’t think of one idea for us to do. Consequently I made dinner reservations at the Belmond, which was excellent. Additionally, as a Bonvoy member, nothing acknowledged the membership. In contrast, the JW Marriott in Cusco was simply exceptional on every level.
Best property from the 4 other 5 star 🏨 tels we stayed on our same trip.
This is truly a luxury resort. Very happy, always smiling and ready to help staff.
Loved the food and services. The overall feel of the property is very relaxing. Best place in and around Cusco
Was a lovely stay
Lovely hotel. So helpful with every issue.
The hotel exceeded our expectations!
Gorgeous hotel. Wonderful staff.
We spent 2 nights here in a lovely room that opened onto an immaculate lawn and gardens.
The hotel goes to great lengths to create a wonderful experience for its guests.
The day we checked in, there was a star gazing party complete with telescopes and an enthusiastic astronomer. The llamas in the lobby everyday were adorable. The musician playing the Andean harp and other traditional instruments at breakfast was awesome.
Last but not least, the hydrotherapy pools in the spa were perfect for aching knees after a long hard day.
Beautiful place with excellent service
An unbelievable experience. Mind-blowing spa. Horseback riding highly recommended. An outstanding -almost essential- place to establish as a HQ to visit Machu Picchu. Beware the new circuit system! You cannot go anywhere you want inside Machu Picchu anymore! Thank you, Tambo Del Inka!

Beautiful spa
Great facility! Only wish there was more activity for kids on the property
Amazing stuff, breathtaking interior design, and materials. Delicious food. Wilbert was our waiter, and he was outstanding and funny.
On the other hand, the hotel is unreasonably expensive. Most guests stay one or two nights. They should have some price options for a more extended stay.
