All energi verkar gå till de gäster som köper spapaket. Vi som ”bara” övernattar verkar inte vara så intressanta.

Bra läge. Vacker miljö. Mysig cocktailbar

Cons:

Fick ett rum under spaavdelningen. Väcktes tidigt på morgonen av en brummande bubbelpool eller fläkt. Ganska loj personal. Frågade inte om vi hade haft det bra vid utcheckning och informerade inte om frukost eller utcheckning när vi checkade in. Frukosten inplockad prick 10:30. Fanns inte ens en chokladbit kvar till kaffet.

Shocking service.
Pros:

Statshotellet in Varberg would do well to review its raison d’être - customer service. We were a party of 5 - who came to enjoy the buffet breakfast. Things were wrong right from the start, from having to chase a member of staff just to be seated, to the cashier, herself deciding on and inputting the level of gratuity to pay them. When the waitress came to clear the plates, we were apparently meant to hand deliver them to her. Only 15 minutes after having been seated, the buffet closed - a fact we had not been informed of as we entered - we would have chosen another establishment had we known. We were then asked to leave a short while after and when mentioned to the staff member that we’d only had 15 minutes to enjoy the breakfast - he said “but you’ve been sitting here for half an hour” so apparently we should have been grateful to have been allowed to sit in their esteemed restaurant for 30 minutes without food - incredible! He later returned and said that we could speak to the reception about some money off - he’d clearly completely missed the point. Needless to say we were not going to chase a refund and left with the firm knowledge that this will not be a restaurant that we will return to again. Only positive to say was that the food was quite good, the little that we had time to sample.

Underbara sängar! Suverän servicepersonal!

We returned to Varberg Asia Spa Hotel because the spa facilities are truly magical and deeply relaxing, and we had been longing to come back for another day of unwinding.

This time, we began our stay with the hotel’s brunch, priced at SEK 325 per person. Unfortunately, it was not worth the cost. The selection of hot dishes was limited, and those that were available were served lukewarm at best. The dessert table, which included small portions of what was described as pavlova, was disappointing and did not resemble pavlova at all—mainly consisting of whipped cream.

Dinner in the evening was attractively presented, but sadly lacked flavor. That said, I would like to emphasize that all members of the service staff, both during the day and in the evening, were exceptionally service-minded, hardworking, and genuinely did their utmost to ensure guests had a positive experience.

The hotel room features excellent beds, providing a very comfortable night’s sleep. Overall, the hotel environment is pleasant and inviting.

synes middagen som var del av et paket, ikke stod til forventningene. Veldig lite mat og fisken var ikke ikke godt tilberedt, samt at det var et svært lite stykke (det var hovedretten).
