The location of the hotel was great.
The door of the room was hard to close, I had to push it strong.
The staff are amazingly attentive; courteous, kind and pleasant.

I made two requests before my stay, but unfortunately I did not receive any reply by email. When I mentioned this at check-in, the front desk staff kindly assisted me and handled my requests very professionally.
I truly appreciated their support. However, if such assistance was available, I believe it would have been much better to receive a reply to my emails in advance, as it would have given me greater peace of mind before my arrival.
I also felt that there was limited communication and coordination between the front desk and the concierge on the first floor. Considering this is a five-star hotel, this was a little disappointing.

Best high end place near Taipei Main Station. Helpful staff, European vibes, artworks throughout, spacious room with free drinks in fridge, and cute corner bath tub. I highly recommend going for one of the better rooms which include access to the gorgeous VIP lounge, which has free snacks and drinks (including beer, wine, and self pour spirits all day an evening (plus additional rotating spirits added during their 5:30-7:30 happy hour), among other benefits. Breakfast buffet was excellent, especially the regional local dishes. Gym had some very nice equipment. I didn’t eat at Le Palais (Michelin 3 star, advance reservation needed) but they let me peak into the entrance. Overall a classy stay.
The whole property is quite dark inside. That’s the vibe they are going for, but may not be for everyone. Despite being so close to Taipei Main Station, it’s tricky to find in the underground maze. Follow signs to Taipei City Mall then exit Y5 will get you closest (but stairs required). It’s just around the corner from there.

細かなことかも知れませんが、毎回泊まって感じるのはエレベーターのボタン類が暗くって見え難いことです。
あと台湾のルールかも知れませんが部屋に歯ブラシの備え付けが無く、欲しかったらコンビニで買え！とのことで、これって環境に優しい？のかも知れませんがサービスの観点から考えると最低な気がします。
