The hotel is situated perfectly for walking into the small town of Alpbach or for setting off on one of the many possible mountain hikes in the area.
Facilities: stainless steel lined indoor/outdoor heated swimming pool with bar service. Plenty of towels available.
We paid the half-board rate to get breakfast and dinner included. We are vegetarian and I was pleased to see a full five-course vegetarian dinner each day. The courses are smaller than one often finds in similar places (as they state on the menu) with the option of having seconds. I thought this was excellent. The menu was very varied, and I thought the vegetarian dishes were very imaginative.
Parking is available in a small underground garage (free) with spaces that are 'cozy' but workable.
Our second floor room was comfortable and quite large with a balcony that overlooked the pool. The bathroom was small but very clean with a tub/shower combo.
Nice touches: chocolates in the room on arrival, robes for walking to and from the pool area, a backpack and umbrella to use for outings, a stocked refrigerator in the room (reasonable prices), a daily news letter delivered at breakfast each day with suggestions for outings, the weather, events, and so on. One surprise was that the hotel has a library - an excellent place to sit quietly and read. The bar just inside from the pool was also a quiet area and had a few board games.
Staff: I found the staff to be excellent. They all speak German and English.

Sehr schönes Hotel, freundliches Personal, super Essen. Der Pool ist ziemlich klein. Zum schwimmen nicht geeignet, zum planschen perfekt. Würden wieder gehen.

Das Personal war unglaublich aufmerksam und freundich.
Das gesamte Hotel war sehr gemütlich und liebevoll gestaltet. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und großzügig, mit einem großen neuen Bad ausgestaltet. Vom Wanderrucksack bis zum Teekocher war alles vorhanden. Es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sicher wieder.

Lækkert hotel i naturskønne omgivelser og gode vandreruter lige udenfor. Lille indendørs poolområde i åben forbindelse med udendørs pool. Lækkert spa- og wellnessområde. Fitnessrum med tidssvarende maskiner.
Restauranten kedelig og servicen rutinepræget. Der var til gengæld mulighed for at spise i baren, som havde udendørsservering på terrassen, hvilket var meget hyggeligere.

Das Hotel liegt zentral und sehr schön auf eine Anhöhe direkt in Alpbach. Sehr guter Service und extrem nettes Personal, insbesondere der Kellner beim Frühstück. Kinder sind offensichtlich ebenso willkommen wie ältere Gäste, insgesamt schön gemischt alles.

Von der Ausstattung her tadellos, alles funktioniert, alles ist sauber und hygenisch. Ein ganz ein kleines Manko sind vielleicht die Tiefgaragenplätze, da diese sehr eng sind - weil heute die Autos eben deutlich breiter sind. Ist allerdings baulich wahrscheinlich nicht zu ändern.

Hoteliers around the world should visit Romatik hotel to understand what customer service should be. Every single person in this hotel took guest satisfaction very personally and went above and beyond in making us feel comfortable. When we complained that we were not satisfied with the room initially assigned to us the front desk staff, personally walked us through 3 other rooms to make sure we were happy. They went above and beyond in finding us suitable hiking trips and even offered to allow 2PM checkout to accommodate the hike's schedule. The buffet at the hotel was also top class.. farm fresh butter, home made jams etc.. Of course the view of Alps from this location was breathtaking!.. We will be back soon!.

schönes Hotel mit super Lage in Alpbach, große Zimmer und sehr freundlicher Empfang und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet

Just got back from a 4 night stay at the Boeglerhof. The location of this hotel couldn't be beat for skiing and snowboarding and the daily breakfast was amazing. The only issue we had was we didn't speak German and the staff at the front desk do not speak very good English. If you don't speak German, you will have a hard time trying to get questions answered from the front desk so just keep that in mind. Other than that, it was a wonderful little hotel!

The service was great and everyone was so accommodating. We got there late at night, close to midnight. Someone had stayed there beyond their shift to make sure we can check in. They have great facilities, a big "silence" room where you can relax, meditate and decouple from everything and everyone. Their combination of four spas and the cold plunge (spring water) pool/shower is heavenly. The swimming pool is partly made out of metal and is really nice.
The rooms are big and very modern. The food at the hotel restaurant is great. We had one of the best fish dishes ever. Even the simple grilled chicken salad was heavenly (locally grown lettuce, really tasty chicken, ...). They also offer a whole host of free services (mountain bikes, guided walking tours, etc.).
