Pros:

Localisation à 20 mn à pied du centre ville. Salle de bain refaite.

Cons:

Aucune insonorisation entre les chambres. J'ai entendu le voisin toute la nuit très mal dormi. Moquette pas propre.

First class yet again
Pros:

Not as good as when we first stayed some years ago. The personal touch has been lost.
Pros:

Breakfast was ‘included’ in the price. However what Booking.com doesn’t say is that it’s for continental Breakfast only.

Pros:

We stayed a couple of nights to go to the zoo. The street was extremely quiet at night and we had a great sleep. Breakfast was delicious, my partner loved the fry up and I enjoyed the homemade yogurt. The hotel/room was well decorated and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Bonus points for the neighborhood cat!

A solid hotel, great nights sleep and would definitely stay again!
Pros:

Location was absolutely spot on for a quiet stay to see the sights in Chester, you are far enough away to not be bothered by noise or vast amounts of people but close enough for a short walk into the town and ideally located next to a row of shops and bars.

Cons:

No air con during this heat wave made the room a little stuffy, they supplied a stand up fan but it had very little effect, also felt the bathroom wasn't great, water from the shower sprayed all over the sink and there was mould in places.

We loved the location. It was within walking distant of Chester and local pubs/restaurants.
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Continental breakfast was included. Cooked breakfast was charged but reasonable price

Cons:

I think a few tweaks. We put the sign out for our room to be made up. The quilt was just pulled up. No cushions put back, no milk, biscuits replaced so we had to ask. Plug in bath did not fit. I think a bit more attention to the cleaning would be good. Tissue box was dusty.

Unbearably hot tiny room with no AC and a cheap rubbish fan

Breakfast area was nice even though it cost an additional fee for hot food

Cons:

Hotel has no AC and didn't mention this on booking.com despite it being close to 40°C, I asked for a refund shortly after booking and it was denied even though it's not mentioned on booking.com and the heat wave made the room unbearable to stay in, I checked out a day early and cancelled my plans because of this and didn't stay my second night...

The room was tiny, dusty and quite dirty for a supposedly nice well rated hotel and they wouldn't refund when I called to double check if they had AC and they didn't have it ... The room must have been 30°C+ in the day and around high 20's (25°C+) to 30°C in the night, all they had was a cheap desk fan which did little to nothing to make it possible to sleep in the room. I hardly slept, so I cancelled my plans and checked out early...

Not happy at all with this stay and I won't ever go back, worst and most disappointing stay I've ever had in my life, they need more accurate photos that don't make the room look big and to be more transparent on the booking.com with the hotel details especially the fact it has no AC and the room needs to be cleaned better... Thick layers of dust everywhere which was terrible for my allergies... I would rather 0/10 if it was possible

Very well appointed and well located hotel.
Pros:

Very well kitted-out hotel in a great location - easy to find and in reach of the town centre, but also quiet and private. The bed linen was great. I liked the fact that a good continental breakfast was included, though there was the option to pay for more elaborate breakfast options.

Cons:

Nothing really. The only thing I noticed was that there wasn't a soap dispenser in the bathroom for washing hands - it's fiddly to unscrew the shower gel bottle with wet hands.
