Byzantio Hotel

We were very well looked after and they were very kind and friendly .
Location was quite peaceful and relaxing .
Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Location was only twenty minutes away from the Centre and also 20 minutes away from Airport by car.
Great experience.

Hotel was close to motorway which didn’t bother us. It was not noisy. It gave us a very easy trip to tomb of Phillip of Macedon as it’s to the west of city.
We taxied into Thessaloniki centre twice . Desk staff booked this for us.
No trouble getting taxi back either.
Staff at hotel were so helpful. We arrived late on first day as flight was delayed and there is 24 hour reception.
There is no restaurant but a staff member is always around to get a drink when needed.

hotel close to the highway ring, nothing other around it; simple hotel, no breakfast and restaurant, rooms basic and quite old, but fair. Service good, pesonnel polite. Price suitable for this type of hotel.

My fiance and I stayed in this hotel for one night. It is excellent for those people who would like to rest on the way. It takes about 9 minutes to get to the center of Thessaloniki and you are still 2 minutes from the highway to Halkidiki and Athens. The people at the reception are very friendly and will do anything to help. We felt very comfortable and recommend everyone to come here. The rooms are clean and this is 10/10 value for money.

The place is close to some highway, far from the city centre (but we knew that).
Hotel feels very old and needs to be updated.
The room had an old carpet. Furniture and everything felt old and outdated. Bath in the bathroom was yellow!
I took there my parents and certainly they were far from impressed. My mom didn't want to shower in that bath... Felt a bit embarrassing.

It is a very good hotel with good breakfast and very pleasant personal that make you feel like home from the first minute! You can do lots of things because it is near the ring road of the town and you can go anywhere you want and return and park your car with no problems! Go an stay there!

We stayed only one night in this place on the road to Bulgaria. The hotel looks good and the staff is friendly. The location is very good, very near to the ringroad and the highway. This is the reason the hotel to be very noisy. It is not possible to sleep with the open window. The breakfast was very, very poor and minimal.

Nice hotel that is 15 minute walk to Papageorgiou Hospital. Big rooms that are clean and the service is lovely. Simple breakfast. If you are looking for a five star hotel near the city, this isn’t it but it is excellent value for money.

Stayed at the Byzantio Hotel in July 2018. The hotel is well appointed. With comfortable clean rooms. It has good sized pool and ample sun beds.
The staff and the owners are very helpful. Breakfast is a must. Very good value for money, lots of choice of food. Eggs and bacon. Fresh pastries and local breads and yoghurt. Juices tea and coffee
The beach is a short walk from hotel. Lots of sand, warm water, beds, and restaurants.
Parga is a short boat trip away, runs from 9 am ish ( Greek time) until very late. €5 round trip.
Well worth visit to a busy bustling holiday town. More fabulous restaurants

We stayed in this hotel just for one night on our way to Thessaloniki airport. It has clean and spacious rooms, and a friendly service. Breakfast is also good. The only reason for the Average rating is the location which is very close to the Ring road which means no sleep especially if you are sensitive to noice and you have a room with a balcony looking to the road. I am not sure I will stay here again only because of this.

If you are thaveling in Greece and need a nice hotel to sped a night or two in Thesaloniky this is the one! Very close to the highway and 20 minutes away to city center. Very nice and friendly staff, clean rooms.

excellent hotel. friendly staff, good facilities, not in the city center, but taxis solve all questions. if we need to stop in Thesoloniki, then again we will come here.

This hotel is easily accessible through the ring road, and maybe this is its greatest advantage. Being located outside the city, it is also quite, and in a nice natural environment. But the facilities are average. The breakfast is below the city standards, and personally, I was not satisfied by its cleanness (I found ants on my floor!). The staff however, is kind.

We stayed here for three nights with the family (3 kids) and we`ve been very pleased.Its a nice renovated hotel which lies just beside the West Ring road ,easy access from the airport ( 25 min ) and very quiet.The car is necessary for moving around.I believe this is a family-run hotel and all the people working here was very kind and helpfull.On the plus side:Spacious and clean rooms ,lot of parking spaces , value for money, great staff. On the minus side : noisy front-facing rooms from the near-by motorway and relativelly poor variety of breakfast dishes.Overall a positive stay with opportunity for improvement steps from the property.

Good hotel, good personal, clean and comfort rooms

Nice and friendly staff. Our room was ready although we arrive at about 10 a.m. on an early flight. We had an excellent stay. Our room was spaceful and comfortable, with a tiny balcony. This hotel is convenient if you have a car, because it situated on the ring road.

Good value for money. You definitely need a car for transport because the hotel is on the ring road. Plenty of parking places. The rooms are nice, the staff absolutely nice. No nasty smells or other inconveniences.
