Staff molto cordiale, posizione eccellente
Stanza molto piccola, bagno molto piccolo, diversa dalle foto, prezzo normale
Central of everything, museum, entertainment, transport
It was good
Great location, very close to a lot of tourist attractions. Right near the tram line so easy to get to and from Central Railway Station.
The stairs inside the hotel, quiet steep stairs.
The cleanliness and friendly staff

The location was excellent, just a moment’s walk away from Leidseplein and the tram network. The staff, in particular Joel, was very respectful and helpful in helping us solve any problems we experienced. The check in / check out process was easy. The bed was comfy.
The rooms don’t look at all like advertised, either on Booking.com or the hotel’s own website. Initially, we were given the wrong room entirely, and then had to go through a long process to get the standard of room we paid for. The receptionist did manage to get us into a better room, but even that was what you’d describe as extremely basic. The rooms are extremely small and basic - you will struggle to find room to navigate your way into the beds, there isn’t very much in the way of storage or facilities, and the bathrooms are tiny. Cleanliness wasn’t perfect either, and there were some areas of damage in the room - broken shower attachment, broken window frames and skirting boards. The lift was broken, and the stairs were extremely steep and narrow, so it was definitely quite a process getting in and out of the room, especially with luggage. I wouldn’t recommend it to those who are less physically able. The rooms were also extremely warm. The corridors are tatty and need redecorating, and the reception is in a different building entirely, which is also good to know. Overall, I would say that this hotel falls far short of the standards you’d expect for the price and from their pictures.
