Unica pecca il letto comodissimo ma scomodo per entrare ed uscire dal letto
It’s glose to the train station and metro. The hotel has proper airconditioning. It’s quiet at night as well.
This is still the old style citizen m hotel, with the toilet and shower as cylinders in the middle of your room. The newer ones in the U.K. have a normal bathroom and a little fridge-drawer. The rooms are getting a bit tired. The flush bottom on the toilet fell off, and the sheets had holes in it. The area itself is not very attractive either.
Very clean and modern, good location not too far from the Zuid Train Station etc. staff were very friendly and helpful
The room is small, and whilst the very modern alternative decor and function is good, it’s also a bit odd. Strange ‘pods’ for the shower and toilet etc. trying to turn the light on requires you to log on the an Apple iPad, all very funky but strange and annoying. You can also change the colour scheme of your room via this iPad to any colour in the rainbow, to be honest I’m glad this feature exists as I now know what I’d been missing in my whole life until now! For what get, I thought it was expensive.

Nach dem Öffnen der Zimmertür steht man im Nassbereich des Zimmers, der zwar durch Glaskuben um Toilette und Dusche geschlossen werden kann, man kann sich dann aber fast nicht mehr bewegen.
Kein Schrank. Kein Platz zum Ablegen der Koffer. Eigentlich ein Badezimmer mit integriertem Bett.

The staff are prejudiced; they tell me not to smoke here while saying nothing to others. They even charge me a service fee, whereas other guests get complimentary drinks—and this is while I’ve been staying there for a week and a half.

The staff was absolutely perfect! Very polite, always helpful. The hotel and the room were spotless clean. Simply everyone in the hotel is making the best effort to provide the best experience.
The location of this hotel is perfect, literally two minutes walk from a train stop from where a tram goes into the city center.
The room itself is a bit special - special :-) we knew this already from pictures but probably is not a place where you want to stay with your mom :-D both shower and toilet are really part of the room, there's a curtain between the "living part" (a tiny table and a bed) and the "bathroom"
Although it wasn't a surprise, I can imagine at least the toilet to have some higher level of separation.
What I see as a drawback was the lack of appropriate storage or shelves. We were there two people for more than a week, meaning some clothes, some toiletries, two laptops, two phones and proper chargers... for example in the whole room there are two outlets! And one is used for a charger for an in-room tablet (that you use to control everything, including lights, curtains, TV) leaving you with only one wall socket for your use. Definitely not enough nowadays.
