Pros:

I chose the hotel because of the bikes advertised so it was not very cool to discover there were none. It gave the property the extra i was looking for and it not being there was a real pain in the ass .

The rooms in New York citizen are also nicer and more spacious

The staff was extra nice though

Hotel s výhodnou polohou a skvělým personálem.
Pros:

Skvělá poloha - hotel je snadno dostupný z letiště vlakem a do centra je to pár stanic tramvají (cca 15 minut k Van Gogh Museum), stanice tramvaje do centra je pár metrů od hotelu.

Cons:

Pokoje by mohly být větší.

Down the side of the bed by the shutters looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months… socks, TV controls and condom packets…

Pros:

The Citizen was a pleasure to stay at, it offered more than we expected.
As we are of mature years we are not confident with modern technology so we expected booking in to be time consuming to say the least. But there are people there to help you. We had a problem with Booking .com, they had not confirmed our booking, that became little complicated. The staff were very helpful in putting all right for us, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast and snack lunches were also excellent. Would definitely return. Good location for the train station and buses into the centre.

Excellent Service, Small but Efficient Rooms
Pros:

The staff was extremely attentive and always found ways to make you feel well taken care of. The facilities are modern, and everything feels clean and efficient. Check-in was very easy, and check-out was just as smooth. I also appreciated the detail of being able to borrow umbrellas at no extra cost unfortunately, we had a rainy day, so that was very helpful

Cons:

One thing I didn’t love was that the room felt small. I understand the concept is to have very compact rooms, but since I was traveling with my girlfriend and luggage, there came a point where it felt like there wasn’t much space to put additional items.

A great hotel in a very good location for the Amsterdam RAI
Pros:

The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. I liked the option on the room controls to do a meditation based on my mood, and the lights and music changed accordingly. The food was lovely, not a massive selection but what I had was lovely. Breakfast was open from 6-11 which was ideal! The location was perfect for the RAI (where my event was), very close to Amsterdam Zuid train station and very quick to get to the airport.

Cons:

The room was a little cramped and might have been too small if I hadn't been travelling alone.
