The jacuzzi was making noice the entire night, we tried switching it off and still it did not stopped. The emergency number given in the room was not working. There was no one to contact and help for this. We could not sleep the entire night and this ruined our stay.
We loved this hotel! Maria and faviana were the best !

The hotel was nice. The room was wonderful and had great views! The hot tub had some dirt on the floor which I guess was because it was very windy those days but could have been cleaned. The TV in the room was useless as it was not configured correctly to receive satellite signal and the staff was unable to fix it. Breakfast options were sufficient and tasty.

The employees were all very nice. The room was perfect size and clean and the balcony with the hot tub was great! The bed was comfortable too.
A huge bonus for me was that you can see the beautiful sunset from the property. No need to go all the way to Oia where it was over crowded.

Beautiful place to stay at, friendly staff who took their time explaining and guiding around the island. Especially thankful to the cleaning lady from Ukraine, truly an amazing person.
The staff was amazing and very accommodating, but it was expensive compared to properties nearby, which we were planning to stay at, but family requested us to stay next door to their hotel. They had suites with a dining area, living room, and bedroom.. when for the same price, we got a sofa and a jacuzzi that was warm, rather than hot like you would expect. Staff did come in to clean and make the bed everyday, breakfast was nice to wake up to bright and early, but Fira is not walkable unless you want to walk > than 30 minutes each way. Transportation is paid at this hotel, whereas the neighboring one offered free shuttle service into town and other places as well as offered a coffee hour, etc. The reason my rating is so high is because the staff was amazing and we spent less time at the hotel out on excursions and hikes.
The location is very convenient with 5 minutes driving distance to Fira. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They responded quickly when we had questions. They also helped us arrange transportation from port and car rental.
My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. Everything was perfect from the beautiful room overlooking the caldera to the pool, the delicious breakfast, great staff including the bartender who made great mojitos. Location is right by the Fira to Oia walking path and close to a lot of good restaurants. Sunset views are amazing. Would highly recommend.
We loved our stay at Gizis! Our room was beautiful and perfect for our honeymoon. Andrew the bartender was also amazing! He was so helpful and gave us a ton of advice about Santorini.
