We loved our stay at Te Vakaroa!
We had an upstairs two bedroom villa with an awesome view across the lagoon to the ocean… walk out the front past the pool and your on the sand and swimming!
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms upstairs, another toilet down stairs with a washer and dryer.. big lounge area and balcony..
right next door to the sailing club with cafe bar… a short walk to the pacific resort or nautilus where we went for food and cocktails…

The hotel’s location is great, with convenient transportation and many good restaurants within walking distance, especially with a night market right next door. However, the hotel’s facilities are quite outdated, and the cleanliness of the rooms is average. There is even a leakage issue with the ceiling. The breakfast options are limited, making the value for money quite average for the price. Not highly recommended.

Gorgeous property with all the amenities. Lagoon access, ocean views. Loved the private pool and Jacuzzi! Thoroughly enjoyed our Muri beach stay!! Aloha from Hawaii!

Luxurious villas with direct access to the lagoon. Property was in amazing condition , easy checkin / out . Can highly recommended and would easily stay again in a heartbeat

This was an incredible property, by our estimation one of the best on the island. The people were super friendly, the location is perfect, and the overall experience is outstanding

Absolutely loved our stay here. The villas are modern and clean. Only 6 in the complex so does not get overcrowded. Daily breakfasts delivered to our villa were superb - fresh fruit, muesli and even choc croissants!!!
Beach few steps away, lovely pool, and spa. Washing machine and dryer if you need it, night markets short walk away. Poko and Nick were fabulous hosts. Poko even allowed us a late checkout which was greatly appreciated. Our stay was not long enough and cannot wait to return.

Top position, quality furnishings and furniture tastefully combined, a fantastic swimming pool, convenient location on Muri Beach (the best location on Rarotonga IMHO), plus friendly and helpful staff make this place a Paradise on Earth.

This place is really nice, people are great and the facilities top rate. The only reason for a 4 not 5 is that it is small and if it is full than you are vulnerable to the antics of your neighbours. We had 2 nights of the 3 we stayed here with only one other couple and the place was wonderful. The 3rd we had a group of 10 mates arrive keen to party which was fun to watch for one night but would have frayed a little if we had stayed on. The good news though is the rooms are very quiet even when it is going off round the pool! If you want privacy seek an upstairs room. If you want direct access to the pool go downstairs.

If you like small, private holidays with all of your home from home comforts (possibly with a little luxury thrown in too) then Te Vakaroa Villas is perfect. Conveniently located for the night markets, boat trips and cycle hire you can be as active or as inactive as you want Nick and Poko have it covered

We needed accommodation that would suit 4 adults sharing and this 2 bedroom villa was perfect.

WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR STAY. IT WAS QUIET AND VERY RELAXING. WE HAD ACCESS STRAIGHT ONTO THE BEACH AT MURI, A SWIMMING POOL, SPA POOL AND A LOVELY OUTDOOR AREA TO TAKE IN THE VIEW . WE WE CLOSE TO RESTAURANTS, GENERAL STORE AND BAKERY.

Awesome pool and spa and handy to a variety of places and resturants to visit. Really enjoyable stay with very pleasant staff super helpful.
