We liked everything. The location of the hotel is perfect, near the railway station, and tram and bus stops. Despite the central location, the hotel was quiet. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean room, good cleaning. I would definitely return to this hotel.
Everything was fine.
The hotel was right next to the main railway station and with good connections into the city by both foot and public transportation. The hotel room was clean, spacious and beds comfortable. Breakfast was simple, but with enough variety. Our early check-in and late check-out were also accommodated.
The elevator was slow – but that’s a minor detail!

A cama é ótima, garantindo noites de sono tranquilas, e a ducha tem excelente pressão e temperatura, perfeita para relaxar depois de um dia explorando a cidade. O café da manhã é outro grande destaque: muito farto, com boa variedade de opções e tudo muito bem apresentado. Atende facilmente diferentes gostos e faz toda a diferença para começar bem o dia. O atendimento dos funcionários foi impecável. Todos foram extremamente educados, atenciosos e sempre dispostos a ajudar, o que torna a estadia ainda mais agradável e acolhedora. A localização também é um ponto forte: o hotel fica próximo à estação central e com fácil acesso ao transporte público, o que facilita muito a locomoção tanto dentro da cidade quanto para outros destinos. No geral, uma experiência excelente. Recomendo fortemente e com certeza me hospedaria novamente

Hotel muito bem localizado, próximo da Estação, muitos restaurantes e supermercados próximos ao hotel. Quarto espaçoso e recém reformado. Café da manhã bom.

A very pleasant room (a 'junior suite' so a bit more expensive) with a very good city view and a separate sitting/study area. The hotel location is ideal for the station, which was important for us. The breakfast was less extensive than in some comparable hotels, but at 20 euros it is reasonably priced (for Luxembourg, that is). Friendly multilingual staff.
There was one slow lift, which at checking out time took 10 mins to arrive. That could be serious if in a rush. At breakfast we had to endure cheesy American pop songs very morning. Why can't we have some more local music - or better still, silence?
Great location near the train station. Big room and bathroom. A wonderful breakfast.
Our second stay at the City Hotel was as good as our first. The location was very convenient for us as we were arriving by train and departing from Luxembourg airport. Check in and out was easy and friendly. We had a huge room on the third floor with a large and comfortable bed and a comfortable seating area. Decor and furnishings were neutral and in good repair, and everything worked well. We had tons of wardrobe and storage space. We appreciated the electric kettle, tea/coffee supplies, bottled water that was replenished daily, and the fridge. The bathroom was a good size with a very good shower, fluffy towels and windows, and was spotlessly clean (as was our entire room). Housekeeping was done on a daily basis. The Gare Centrale, tram and bus stops are within minutes' walk from the hotel, along with a wide range of casual restaurants and a number of supermarkets. We had an enjoyable stay and would have no hesitation in staying at the City Hotel again if we return to Luxembourg.
Our room windows faced an inner light well and so natural daylight was limited. But we didn't spend that much time in our room for it to bother us and the lighting in our room was excellent.
Hotel was clean and quiet.
We had easy access to transit.

The breakfast was delicious
Very centrally located, spotlessly clean, with a delicious breakfast. The sound insulation was excellent—even though it faced the street, there was complete silence. The bed was incredibly comfortable.
