I had an extremely bad experience at the Pelagos Hotel in Santorini, Greece.
I arrived at Pelagos Hotel at around 17:00 on July 8. When I arrived at 17:00 on Friday, July 8, the reception office was closed and there was nobody at the Hotel except "G" at the pool bar. Roland, the only receptionist/front desk clerk at Pelagos Hotel, did not show up to give me my room key for over 30 minutes after I arrived around 17:30.
Roland led me to Room 2 at Pelagos Hotel. The room had no windows to let fresh air in and was extremely warm, perhaps over 32 degrees Celsius. Roland turned the air conditioning unit on in the room and told me that when I return from dinner in a few hours, the room would be cool.
I got back from dinner to Pelagos Hotel around 23:00 and the room was still extremely warm! The air conditioning unit did not work. I immediately communicated this to Roland at the front desk who then came to my room to try and and fix the problem, but he could not fix it. He told me the air conditioning unit must be broken and he would try to call a technician in the morning. He then tried to find me another room at the Hotel with a working air conditioner, but could not. He said the Hotel was full. So I was then forced to make alternative hotel arrangements at 23:30 on Friday night! I have demanded a refund for my prepaid room reservation, but George in "reservations" refuses to respond to my emails or refund my money for this horrible experience.
The Pelagos hotel supplied us with a wonderful and clean room to spend our weekend in Santorini. Everyone was pleasant, polite, and made it their duty to make our trip that much more special.
Pobyt w tym hotelu bedziemy z mężem wspominać z duzym sentymentem. Wspaniała obsługa, która tworzy niesamowity klimat tego miejsca. Od managera, barmana po ekipę sprzątającą( Andreas, Antonis you are the best!!!) .Pokoje przestronne, bardzo czyste. Kazdy na swoj taras na ktorym mozna pic poranną kawkę. Jak ktos ma ochotę odpocząć od zgiełku miasta to polecam ten hotel w 100 %. Jeśli będziemy jeszcze odwiedzać Santorini to napewno w Hotelu Pelagos. Dziękujemy za gościnę!!!
