Warm welcomed, people very helpful and very kind, essential commodities, breakfast with an excellent Greek cheese and delicious honey. If you are looking for a quiet place and keep calm, go to Tsambika hotel.

Do not forget to call the hotel to organise the transport from the airport to the hotel (not like us :) )

We had a lovely stay at Tsambika sun hotel. Only negative point : the mattress in our room, it’s very tired.

Good hotel, owners are very friendly and very kind. Hotel is located very near the center of the town, just few minutes walk from all the shops and restaurants. Enough parking spaces if you have a car. Hotels has a swimming pool and a nice coctail bar. Location is perfect, right in the middle of the island on east coast. Breakfast is good and tasty, quite a lot to choose from.

Das Hotel ist toll, wenn man die Insel mit dem Auto erkunden möchte.
Sehr freundlicher Service und es war immer jemand zur Verfügung wenn man etwas brauchte. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber ausreichend. Das Zimmer war dem Preis entsprechend, wurde täglich gesäubert und war mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer jedoch bräuchte dringend eine Sanierung. Ein Pool ist vorhanden und gut gepflegt. Es gibt auch WLAN, das ist aber eher langsam. Parkmöglichkeiten für Auto und Roller sind ausreichend verfügbar. Es gibt viele Einkaufs- und Essmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung, aber kaum Touristen, sodass man wirklich das Griechischen Leben erfahren kann. Im Hotel gab es Menschen aller Nationen.
Wir möchten nochmal das tolle Hotelteam erwähnen, weil wir uns wirklich wohl fühlten und nur deswegen schon wieder kommen würden.
Wer die Insel erkunden möchte und einfach nur günstig übernachten will ist hier richtig, wer Party sucht oder den ganzen Tag am Hotelpool verbringen will eher nicht.

The cultural richness of Rhodes is amazing and the sea clean and great. We soon felt at home in Tsambika Sun Hotel as the staff is very nice and helpful, the rooms and breakfast good and the whole athmosphere very relaxing.

Hotel clean and very peaceful. Owners are very friendly and always at customers disposal for may info (bus timetables, rent a car...)

Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - einfache Zimmer, etwas kleines Bad, sehr sauber, freundliche sehr hilfsbereite Betreiber - Preis/Leistung stimmt

A pochi passi dal centro paese con attaccato un minisupermarket. Parcheggio e aria condizionata gratuiti. Frigorifero in sala colazione in comune agli ospiti. pulizia camera giornaliera. Camera accogliente e spaziosa con balcone che da al parcheggio. Arredamento dell'hotel caratteristico. Colazione sia salata (pane affettato uova formaggio) che dolce (marmellata e yogurt) e succhi caffè. Personale dell.albergo molto gentile e disponibile.

It was a clean room, all what i need. Simple breakfast (coffee, sandwiches with cheese and ham, eggs, jam) every morning. Common fridge on the kitchen room. I travelled without car, bus station in 300m near hotel.

Abbiamo soggiornato all'hotel dal 10 al 16 agosto, periodo quindi di massima affluenza turistica sull'isola. Pur non offendo soluzioni da hotel di categoria superiore, la gestione familiare e premurosa dei proprietari non ha evidenziato carenze o disservizi. L'hotel si trova in una zona tranquilla e non lontana del centro della cittadina, con diversi esercizi commerciali e mini market nelle vicinanze. Le camere sono confortevoli (unica pecca una tenda oscurante per la luce), la pulizia viene effettuata giornalmente.
La colazione comprende frutta ed affettati misti (non dolce però), seppur non variegata risulta abbondante.
Trovo l'hotel un'ottima soluzione per godersi gli itinerari e le spiagge dell'isola.

Comoda la posizione, in un paesino poco turistico ma dove non manca nulla. Facile raggiungere tutti i punti di interesse. Non ho mai mangiato li perchè ci sono ottime taverne ovunque! Decisamente sconsigliato a chi vuol passare molto tempo li! Consigliatissimo per l'ottimo prezzo a chi come me, noleggia una macchina e passa tutto la giornata fuori. Stanza non bellissima,ma letti comodi. Bagno così così. Aria condizionata costa 5€ in più al giorno. Niente tv o radio.

HOTEL NEMMENO A UNA STELLA, LONTANO DAL MARE, NON C'E' UNA TV, NON PARLANO LA LIGUA ITALIANA, NE TANTOMENO LA CAPISCONO, IN POCHE PAROLE NON VE LA CONSIGLIO COME SCELTA. LE FOTO CHE SI VEDONO NON CORRISPONDONO ALLA REALTA'.

ho soggiornato dal 23/08 al 30/08 presso questa struttura.
Molto molto carina soprattutto gentilissimo il personale operante, le camera è grande dotata di balcone su vista piscina un po' meno il bagno in quanto piccolo e poco luminoso ma tutto sommato la struttura è veramente comoda.

Io e un'amica abbiamo alloggiato in questo albergo (che definirei quasi più un ostello sotto certi punti di vista...) per dieci giorni quest'estate. Devo dire che il posto e le camere sono piccolini, ma puliti e dignitosi, l'ideale per chi come noi stava fuori tutto il giorno e tornava solo per dormire. Unica pecca: il manager dell'albergo che non perdeva occasione per provare a fregarci soldi: con l'aria condizionata (che costava 4 euro a notte, ma lui ha provato ad alzare il prezzo pensando che noi fossimo ignare), con un improvvisato servizio di trasporto da lui personalmente fornito in caso di necessità per la modica cifra di 20 euro, per una tratta di 5 minuti (salvo poi NON aiutarci quando davvero ci sarebbe servito!) e altro! Davvero un maleducato, burbero e antipatico! Peccato perchè sembrava che la moglie fosse davvero carina.......La posizione dell'hotel non è particolarmente comoda ma neanche particolarmente scomoda....se si è motorizzati è l'ideale perchè si è esattamente a metà strada tra due dei poli principali dell'isola: Rodi città e Lindos. NON è sul mare (importante segnalarlo!) e la spiaggia più vicina, Stegna, è raggiungibile SOLO con un mezzo di trasporto....a piedi non è fattibile! Se volete spendere poco e stare in un posto piccolo ma pulito allora questo albergo fa per voi....sappiate che avrete a che fare con un greco davvero poco piacevole!

This hotel is situated in a local town,we didn't see many tourists but this suited us fine as we was after a quiet holiday.we was always able to get a lounger by the pool and the bus stop to falaraki and rhodes town was literally down the road,the hotel manager and his wife were helpful.the only downside was the hotel didn't offer food but all in all myself and partner would stay here again.

1. No shower curtain. Was told: so what!!! Shower head was loose. Towels were taken away and asked for two days to get back.
2. Only the owner can speak proper English, but he is 83 and is very fit. But he was not around in some mornings, but in the evening he said he was tired to answer questions.
3. It was not friendly. I had to figure out where to take bus to beach as the owner would charge 20 euro to drive to the beach. By bus it is only 3.2 euro return.
4. At airport I had to hire a car to the hotel as taxi is 40 euro. The people at airport told me the bus station is very far. But only when I came back by bus to airport, I found again the bus stop is very near. So Expedia should have told me the bus service charge, only 6 euro from Airport to Rodos then to Archangelos. Then it is the 3rd STOP in Archangelos (close to the hotel about 5 min walk). Otherwise would walk from 1st stop to the hotel in 20 min. Imaging that with luggage! Not sure there is taxi service in the village although people are very friendly.
Really felt not easy without transfer service to the hotel. Will not recommend to anybody at all. Feel cheated at airport for not telling bus service.

the owner xetrichis lanagiotis who is also the director of tsambika sun hotel overcharged my credit card , I stayed there for 7 days and left because of excessive noise , asked the owner for refund because I paid 10 days and stayed only 7 days, he told me in a condescending way that he has no refund policy in place and gave me his back and moved away from me
