Great location
Room was very comfortable and clean
Staff were excellent and extremely nice and helpful
Laundry facility was a huge help

The hotel had a lot of amenities and the staff was responsive and helpful. 3 minute walk from the Daan Park MRT station (red line) I took advantage of the free laundry, daily breakfast, and the room is very clean and quiet. There is also a small refrigerator in the room in case you need to keep some items cool during your stay. I will definitely stay here if I come back to Taipei.

Location was perfect!

The hotel was a few steps to the MRT . We took the MRT to and from the airport. It was right across the Da’an Park. There was also a 7-Eleven next door.

The hotel was spotless! It’s very clean with wonderful breakfast.

Staffs were professional , courteous and pleasant !

This hotel is in a great location- steps from the Da'an Park metro exit 1. It is in walking distance to the lovely Yongkang Street. The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and has various options. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Jessie at the front desk was especially helpful

Front desk has been very kind. Specifically Ken. Very accommodating!

Super kid friendly I would recommend this to families! They provide plates, forks, bibs and all for kids to eat at breakfast even toy animals to play with. The hotel also provides self serve laundry with detergent

This is my third time at Dandy and I still only have good things to say about this place. It's already a given that this hotel has a good location just beside the MRT station entrance with a 7-Eleven downstairs and across Da'an Park. During my previous stays, I was with one adult friend and my family with seniors. This time, we had a toddler in the group. The hotel was super kid-friendly! Their front desk staff, especially Riko, all knew how to engage with our kid. At the dining area, the staff were also very kind with the kid. They also have toys that children could borrow, as well as high chairs and children's utensils. They have a free gachapon just for kids when they finish their meal.

The room was still cozy, especially the Japanese-style bidet with seat warmer. That was very welcome on cold spring mornings. Normally, I don't have any issues with the lighting, but this time I hoped there was a way to black out the lights coming from the frosted glass between the bedroom and the bathroom. It was too bright when turned on at night, which disturbed the sleep of our little one. It was minor, and we made do with the night light for the following nights.

Construction was still ongoing, but I definitely saw improvements. The place looked new and clean in the areas where renovations were finished. Of course, this is a hotel that I would choose to come back to, especially in late March to enjoy azaleas and slow mornings in Da'an Park.

STAFF: The wonderful staff members were truly the highlights. Applause to all of them and how well they were selected and trained. Particularly helpful were ***Riko, June, Paul, & Lulu****. We were looking for pedicure, facial, and massage places. Riko kindly researched for us and also passed along her findings to June when we returned to the hotel. They both efficiently called the various businesses to help us make reservations and help us find needed information. Paul also was incredibly responsive, kind, and such a gentleman! He quickly came to help with laundry questions when I wasn't sure if I had turned on the washing machine correctly.

LOCATION - So convenient!!! Near beautiful Daan park & the MRT & Din Tai Fung :)

FOOD & TREATS - BREAKFAST was absolutely delicious with such an impressive array of offerings on which to feast - from soup, congee, veggies, meats, noodles, eggs, soy milk, fried rice, condiments, toppings, yogurt!!! No need to venture out for a taste of Taiwan - Man how I wish included hotel breakfasts in the United States were like this :)
Lulu and her breakfast staff colleagues were so gracious in making sure all food was stocked, plentiful, and serving areas and tables were clean.
We were so grateful for the snacks in the room as well as outside the rooms with free ramen at night and wonderful teas and treats available in the lobby and basement.

ROOMS: While the rooms were small and we didn't have a view, they were so QUIET, clean and stocked with free water/snacks. Wish however, the bathroom lighting didn't affect the rest of the room as the walls were just translucent glass. Hard when others were trying to sleep. Not much storage, so expect to keep items in your suitcase.

LAUNDRY - what a great offering of free laundry and detergent in the basement!!! Took about 45 mins for washing and 45 mins for drying.

ELEVATOR - a bit slow and small, but so minor in the overall scheme.

VALUE- would give 4/5 stars for value as was a bit pricier than expected for Taiwan considering a 3 star hotel and room size (~ $250 USD/n). but Daan is reportedly a pricier district.

Still HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :) especially because of the lovely staff, amazing breakfast, and convenient location

De ligging, perfect aan de ‘rode’ metrolijn waardoor je een snelle verbinding hebt met de rest van de stad. Super vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, zowel bij de receptie als bij de schoonmaak en bij het ontbijt.

Heerlijke bedden en badkamer. Tijdens ons verblijf kregen de kamers een vernieuwde look. Het was al perfect en de nieuwe kamer is meer dan perfect.
Het ontbijt was erg uitgebreid, heel leuk om allerlei (voor ons onbekende) gerechtjes en smaken te proberen.

Het Daan park tegenover het hotel heeft een ecologische zone met veel vogelsoorten, fijn om te wandelen en rond te kijken.
Onder het hotel is een seven eleven supermarkt waar je heel makkelijk nog even iets kunt kopen.

Omdat het zo fijn was hebben we 2 dagen bijgeboekt! (Zie mijn andere review waarom we het zo fijn vonden)

I only enjoyed two nights at the Hotel Dandy, but it was as expected, perfectly adequate for my needs, without being anything to write home about.

Transport links are good, and it's very close to Da'an Park, which is lovely. However, I had previously stayed in Ximending which was a mite busier, and dare I say it, more interesting. Hotel Dandy was intended to provide a contrast on my way to Okinawa, but kinda wish I had revisited the bustle that was Ximending.

It is what it is, prehaps better for families/couples than lone travellers. Staff were very nice, no issues, just normal's...
