Ants everywhere in the toilet, which had a shower with the doors broken (they didn’t close properly) and the floor wasn’t even flat.
The bed and pillow had plenty of room to improve.
We missed more plugs as ir you wanted to charge the phone you had to disconnect the lamp.

I loved the close proximity to the Acropolis and the museum and to more lively eating places and the flea market and the Agora.
But on our second (last evening), the power went out and was still out when we left the following morning. Not a word from the staff/management. No explanation. It was terribly inconvenient and if it hadn't been for the lights in the square nearby and the lights on our phones, we would've been in real trouble. Very very disappointing and has adversely affected my rating of the hotel. I understand these things happen, but the management myst have been aware, but did absolutely nothing to help. I am asking for a refund for that night we were left to struggle. Plus not able to shower owing to lighting issue. We also struggled to get our cases downstairs the following morning. I would have to think long and hard about staying at the Kimon again, which is a shame, because otherwise it was ideal. We were having a lovely time until this. Imagine trying to pack in the dark with only a phone light to help you! I appreciate tgat it couldn't be helped, I think the whole street was out, but you can't leave guests without assistance in these sort of emergencies. I have mobility issues, arthritis, and have problems getting up and down stairs even when the lighting is good! Imagine if I had needed to go downstairs during the power cut? It wouldn't have been possible. I picked thd Kimon very carefully and up till the power cut situation I was very happy, but now I am just very disappointed. Honestly? Up till the power cut that started at around 10 pm, I would've happily re-booked the Kimon for any future visit. Including a trip back next week from the island i am staying on for a day visit to meet with my Greek friends. Sadly that won't happen now. This has been a very difficult situation for me to deal with. It has never happened to me before.
