Nice wee hotel, let down by a few things. Staff are fine, we had a large room with large bathroom. As the hotel was quiet the breakfasts were made to order and good.
It was let down by things like bathroom fittings that were hanging off and lamps not working. The hotel charges guests for parking, despite having a large car park and being located in a residential area about 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre. When we arrived there was a group of men playing dominoes in the lounge, an activity that apparently had to be accompanied by constant and loud swearing - not the best impression to give guests.
Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly.
Could do with a revamp but really nothing wrong.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, the town was only a 10 minute walk for us . The room was immaculate and spotlessly Clean. We will definitely be back .
The hotel was lovely and warm on arrival, the staff were friendly.
The changing rooms in the pool were freezing. On the second evening, Saturday, the kitchen was closed, due to staff shortages,they forgot to tell us. I then had to take my 5 year old out into the cold to get food.

It was quite centrally located. Easy to find. Nice addition of swimming pool. The staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. The breakfast was lovely. The room was decorated in a modern style which was nice.
The window in our room was cracked unfortunately and the bathroom door would not lock. Had difficulty getting a signal on the television. It kept losing signal. The pool good addition but looking a little tired.
The room was clean warm and homely the staff were very friendly and very helpful.
There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

Lovely weekend close to town centre 20 mins walk , hotel comfortable Dinning rooms have been all done up to a lovely comfortable place and have added new rooms ,
Staff friendly and can’t do enough for you very attentive,
We ate at the hotel and the food was lovely and well cooked breakfast was self service but everything hot as they were allways topping up anything that was needed service was excellent. Will be going back soon,
The swimming pool looked great but we didn’t have time to use it
Very handy for the city centre as less than a 10 minutes walk to the Castle. Spacious rooms.

Having to pay for car parking was disappointing.
Rooms are a bit tired especially the bathroom. All windows are old and in need of replacing but they did their best with what they have. Renovations are in progress though out the hotel.
