We stayed one night while in Inverness on short notice and it suited our purposes.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The hotel is an older property which means it seems a little dated.

It's a bed for the night, great location
Pros:

The staff are very friendly, location is great, you can walk from the city centre to the hotel in about 20 mins.

Cons:

The room wasn't clean, you could see dust, very run down furniture in the room, the chrome was worn away from the plugs in the bathroom, lamp the bulb must be on it's way out as it kept flickering, room looked tired and run down.

Very disappointing as I expected more for the price.
Pros:

Staff were friendly, bar looked nice. Manager listened when I complained about the various concerns about the room ( advertised as superior ) and offered partial refund.

Cons:

Overpriced, unfinished room. Curtains did not fit, curtain rail came off easily. Could not open window as it was on the ground floor and too close to road and not secure.. No air conditioning. No towel rails or hooks in the bathroom for wet towels. No shelves in shower for toiletries. One shelf above toilet was loose and wobbly. Very little storage space for clothes. No phone in room so had to walk to reception for requests etc. Swimming pool very small and only suitable for children. Sauna room too small and claustrophobic.

very enjoyable, staff excellent. the bar was well stocked.
Pros:

check in, breakfast arrangement, car parking all good. Room ideal for our one night stay.

Cons:

Breakfast could have been a bit better. The bacon was tasteless, the mushrooms were dry and and overcooked, everything else was good.

Dog friendly with great food and very helpful staff
Pros:

Close to city centre but still quiet. Dog friendly too. Great ground floor disabled wet room.

Cons:

Although there were a few broken items in our room, it did not detract from our experience.

A great resting haven in Inverness
Pros:

Location was peaceful, great bathroom, spacious room, very friendly staff

Cons:

The room was rather warm and the bedding also, with no possibility to control the temperature except windows (but street level room so..). Perfect for warm sleepers!

A hotel that hasn’t been maintained, peeling paint, dirty swimming pool, threadbare bed covers.
Pros:

Not much, the photos don’t reflect the current condition of the hotel. Peeling paint, threadbare bed covers…just not maintained.

Cons:

Most of it.

Not worth the money. Good for one night. Good Breakfast. Kind Staff
Pros:

Location and room size

Cons:

Facilities like pool and spa where under maintenance.
The room had a bit of humid smell and my room had windows direct to de Air Condition System. I didn’t like that at allá.

Inflated prices, no idea about Disability Discrimination Act and broken facilities.
Pros:

Swimming pool was great

Cons:

We were given a family room but the TV didn't work, the view was of what looked like a smokers assembly point, with a defective light sensor and the curtains hang off the rail so we couldn't even shut the on/off light out during sleeping hours. There wasn't any privacy glass in the bedroom window or modesty nets. There were also no bed side lights which meant putting on the main room light to find the way to the loo. The bed throw on the main bed was plucked, and one of the single beds didn't have a throw at all. We had an assistance dog and were charged £10 for her to be in the room but were not allowed to eat in the restaurant despite there being no seating in the bar at which to eat a meal (all sofas and coffee tables or low rise small tables. The next morning there was no one serving breakfast and no one to be found to order the veggie option. The website mentions a welcome pack for dogs and none was offered or even known about at reception. The rooms has plastic bottles of Harrogate water rather than embracing the luxury local glass options shown on the website.
To be fair £361 for b&b was a total rip off. Prices were inflated because of the cycle event. I had to ask for a discount because of the failings and was given £50 off the evening lap meal. All in all a luxury price for a less than Days Inn experience!

Don’t eat the food if gluten intolerant/celiac.
Pros:

The location was good, and dinner was enjoyable.

Cons:

I asked on three occasions, and several different staff members, if the breakfast was gluten free and that I would definitely be able to get a gluten free cooked breakfast. ( the time I stayed previously, I was only offered toast)
To my dismay, in the morning I was met with a buffet scenario. I asked the staff then if I would be able to have a cooked gluten free breakfast and I was pointed towards the buffet “ help yourself “ area, which has simple signs above it saying things like “ wheat” or “ vegan” above th occasional items available. I was confused by this and worried about cross contamination too, however I felt I didn’t have time to process on the spot quick enough due to the business etc and the fact I am also autistic. The staff member then said “ I can bring you through gluten free sausages if you want”? So I said yes please. I then chose some mushrooms, bacon and cooked tomatoes from the buffet area.. feeling that those were the only items I felt I should trust, and that I knew didn’t have gluten. The sausages were waiting on a plate for me at our table. They looked identical to the sausages my partner had on his plate from the buffet.
Stupidly, I sat and ate the the whole lot, knowing I was gambling with my health.

15 minutes later I was on the toilet with explosive deaorea. Now, as I type this over 14 days later, I have had a severe stomach and immune system reaction ever since. I’ve been to the doctors for blood tests and samples and am now being treated for dehydration also due to all the fluid loss.

I have insomnia, constant pains and fatigue, constant toilet trips after every time I eat, and it’s disrupted my ability work/earn an income or live any sort of normal life.

I asked for a refund over a week ago for my breakfast, and the hotel won’t grant that.
The hotel rooms were very expensive. We booked two as we brought our kids. We were also not told about the fact you have to pay for parking. We came in two cars, so very expensive.

Pros:

Very helpful and flexible staff and a good price for a hotel with good facilities in a nice location.

Cons:

One slight miscommunication between staff led to one guest whose stay was being paid for by our organisation being charged for breakfast when it had been agreed that charges for these guests would be paid at the end by staff.
