Dead Sea Spa Hotel

For the amount of money being paid. The staff wasn't helpful and focused more on making more money. I asked for one small extra water bottle and was refused. Hence hospitality can be better or give guests at least 1.5 litres of water in a day. I was overcharged a bit for going around by taxi. Hence resort can be more guest friendly. Hearing name of resort I expected a bit of pampering which was missing a bit.

I would like to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay.

Upon arrival, the room provided was not the same room category that I had selected and booked. In addition, the room did not include a baby bed as requested, and the food quality and overall experience were far below my expectations for a hotel of this level.

Unfortunately, this stay was meant to be very special for us, as we were celebrating both our wedding anniversary and Eid Al-Adha. Sadly, the experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a memorable and enjoyable occasion.

Because of this poor experience, I do not believe I would consider visiting again or recommending the hotel to others.

I sincerely hope you will take this complaint seriously and consider an appropriate compensation or refund for the inconvenience and disappointment caused.

I arrived during the Eid break so the hotel was jammed packed. The breakfast buffet was like a war zone with screaming children, minimal food options and slippery floors
The adults pool was full of kids
Staff desperately need training on customer service and in the evening the amount of staff available is inadequate
No lights on the balcony so not possible to read on the evening- management decision apparently
A hotel for young children but definitely not adults or solo travellers!
I didn’t manage to sleep as kids were running along the corridor all night

Very disappointing experience. The hotel is overpriced for the level of service provided. The rooms lack basic amenities — there was no soap, insufficient towels, and no essentials such as cotton swabs, a toothbrush, slippers, or even a hairdryer.

I had specifically requested interconnecting rooms as clearly stated in my Booking reservation, but instead we were given only one slightly larger room. It was barely sufficient for our stay, since I was traveling with children.

Despite confirming a baby crib via email and a prior request on Booking, it was not available upon arrival. The staff were unresponsive and unhelpful throughout the stay.

The dinner buffet was very limited, and even worse, no water, juices, or any beverages were included despite having a prepaid booking. We were told drinks were only available at an extra cost, which was unacceptable.

Overall, not worth the money at all. I would not recommend this hotel.

Food quality was ordinary and significantly overpriced. A simple chicken dish and Greek salad cost us 22 JOD. For comparison, in Hilton Amman you can get a buffet breakfast for the whole family for a similar price.
Breakfast setup was also not family-friendly. During breakfast we spotted only one high chair for all guests and surprisingly there was not a single fruit option available.
The biggest disappointment was with our baby. We requested a baby cot and the answer was simply “not available”. The alternative offered was to pay an extra 30 JOD for an additional bed. The way it was communicated made it feel as if this was somehow our issue, not the hotel’s lack of availability.
There is a water slide for children, however you cannot use it unless you buy a swim ring separately for another 7 JOD🤷🏻‍♂️ . Finding the shop itself became a quest it is hidden in the basement and accepts cash only. Even more surprising - the slide opens only after 10 AM, when temperatures are already around 30°C+.
We also booked a sea view room. In reality, the room mostly faced an active construction area, while the Dead Sea was visible only partially from the side. I am sharing photos as proof.
Overall, I would recommend paying a bit extra and choosing another hotel to avoid disappointment.
