Very comfortable, staff very polite, they answer efficiently to any of your request. The position is 10 minutes walking to the Red Square. Good breakfast, very clean, I will come here again when in Moscow, thank you!
If you don't have a Slavic appearance, never enter this hotel.
Me and my friend stayed for two nights here and it was a big stress for us.
The manager Alexander "welcomed" us shouting that he would not check us in because we didn’t have immigration cards. We tried to explain him the lows of Russian Federation, according to which citizens of Armenia didn't need a card for a stay up to 15 days. And that we were tourists, had a ticket as a proof that we were leaving in a few days. Alexander had no wish to check that info, instead he shouted at us telling that we would sleep in the street in case we didn't get the card immediately. Just for the record, we were women of 30 years old, well dressed, polite, and got that attitude.
After spending 5 hours outside driving with taxis from one immigration center to another we finally found a worker of immigration center who was eager to call the hotel and explain them once again the laws of Russian Federation. When coming back, we got no apology. Only after calling the reservation company and making a complain, the hotel staff tried to apologize with a request not to leave bad reviews about them.
COMMENTS ABOUT THE ROOM
1. Cold
2. The shower hanger was broken, was very hard to have shower.
3. Food was tasteless, muesli seemed to be out of date, had bad taste.
If you are looking for a stress, cold, fear or stomach issues choose this hotel, they will arrange.
Very central, fantastic location. Staff are very polite, The room was huge, but a bit dated. It was a bit noisy too, but I guess that's just Moscow.
Great location! Nice staff and clean rooms! I enjoyed staying there.

We arrived at the hotel at 7:30 AM with a reservation for that night. Staff quickly got us into a room for a much needed rest. We stayed 3 nights and the entire time staff was oh so helpful. Advice for restaurants and directions was easily obtained. The hotel is located in a residential area but the location is perfect. The metro is nearby and very efficient, getting one around the city quickly. Red Square is barely 10 minutes away as is the Kremlin. Red Square is beautiful. Being there in December, the skating rink with music in the evening was a joy to behold. Parents with their children skating and having a great time. So much to see is nearby. The room was quiet and very comfortable as was the hotel in general. Breakfast was included and was okay. I highly recommend this hotel.
The Assambleya Nikitskaya was perfect for my four-night stay to attend a conference in February 2020. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable and all parts of the hotel are spotlessly clean. A simple breakfast was included in the room charge. This was my fourth visit to Moscow, but I'm still determined to get to Red Square every day, so being able to walk there and back in less than half an hour was important, when my programme was so busy.
I don't even know where to begin...We had a chance to enjoy Moscow for 15 days during Christmas / New Year holiday season so I really got a chance to see everything about this hotel. Assambleya Nikitskaya is simple yet amazing. Yes, location is great without a doubt because you walk to Red Square 10 min max, countless restaurants and shopping malls nearby, ease of access from anywhere whether you use taxi or underground metro. BUT what makes this place truly amazing is people that work there. That includes everyone: front desk, sales / reservations team, cleaning crew, food / bar - everyone speaks English, everyone is doing their absolute best to help you to feel welcomed. As an example - our son had a gum infection as a result of a tooth extraction done right before vacation & was in need of a dentist urgently. One of front desk receptionists Tatev made calls to many clinics to find one not only open to see us same day, but close and with most reasonable price list. Same attention to guests we saw from Arthur, Diana, Sergey and rest of team. As far as hotel itself - we had a very comfortable 1 bedroom suite they call Apartment. Spacious, clean, comfortable king size bed, enough space for family of 5 actually. We did spend a lot of time outdoors but even when we were inside, none of us felt cramped. If you are looking for friendly and comfortable hotel in the heart of Moscow - this place is for you!!!
I stayed in this hotel for the second time mainly because of its location (in a beautiful residential area, very close to the Red Square, Bolshoi and other theatres) and price performance. But I also have to praise the friendly and helpful service, big comfortable rooms and generally intimate and very personal experience. Breakfast is ok but there are other good options in small neighbouring cafes. Highly recommended!
Great location, very friendly staff, clean and great price 👍
I can’t recommend Assembleya Nikitskaya highly enough as the perfect place for your stay in this beautiful city. It’s a lovely hotel in a very good location, easily walkable to the Kremlin and to Red Sqare, and a short walk to metro stations.
My room was comfortable and spacious, and, once the windows were tightly shut, very quiet.
The highlight of my three-night stay at Assembleya Nikitskaya was the friendliness of the staff, particularly those on reception. Without exception, they were helpful, very patient and welcoming.
Having just completed a tour staying in 4 and 5 Star Hotel, this gem easily outranked them all in standards of service.
The hours for check in should be more flexible . But overall definitely happy that i picked to stay here again. I definitely plan on picking this hotel again as usual.
Great location, clean, friendly and helpful staff who will go out of their way to accommodate requests
This is a great boutique hotel, centrally located within walking distance of all the major attractions in Moscow.
The staff at Assambleya Nikitskaya are all friendly and extremely helpful and helped make my stay in Moscow all the more memorable.
I would recommend Assambleya Nikitskaya to anyone travelling to Moscow who does not need the amenities of a large hotel.
It is a 3 stars hotel..
We were pleasantly awed by the hospitality of the staff. They were always friendly and helpful towards all the guests. My husband misplaced his prayer rosary in the hotel room and discovered it only when we were in St Petersburg. Christina Hodakovskaya from the front desk was very helpful and understood the sentiment of the rosary and took it upon herself to personally post it to Singapore on her own expense. We are very touched by her kind gesture. You do not need to stay at a 5* hotel to receive overwhelming treatment, you just need to book in and stay at Assambleya Nikitskaya Hotel to receive one!
The hotel in a great location. Beds are very comfortable. Staff, especially the front desk, are very responsive and genuinely helpful. True Moscow hospitality!
This is a small boutique hotel in the heart of Moscow . Location is close to excellent you can walk to all the main attractions like the Red Square. It is located on a nice street with lots of cafes and restaurants. Staff are super friendly and supportive. Rooms are adequate size but the shower is a bit small however the water pressure is perfect . Breakfast we didn’t try so can’t comment but has a small settlement downstairs and it’s not included in the room rate. The hotel is a bit outdated but still good and comfy. Only issue which we had and was really annoying was with the WIFI which was very bad and reception told us it’s because we are close to the Kremlin and government imposes restrictions on the internet access. Otherwise great stay .
Everything we asked for, and some things we didn’t, were obliged with upmost efficiency and friendliness by the front desk team at Assambleya Nikitskaya. They made great tour suggestions, arranged discounts, booked stuff and printed docs with a smile all the time. The staff at this venue are memorable.
The location is clearly a great reason to select this hotel - extremely handy to attractions and transportation.
Room was nothing special but clean and spacious enough. Very good blackout blinds (which is very important in Russia in summer). Very little noise from the street. New toothbrushes with paste daily was greasy, as was the air freshener in the bathroom.
I’d return.
I liked that everything was close by and the rooms are clean
