What can i say what a pleasant stay fantastic made mine and my wifes stay for our first holiday abroad fanstastically amazing was a special.one as it was my wifes 50th birthday from all staff reception restaurant bar chamber maids entertainment staff was a spectacular stay great surroundings pools clean surrounding areas vlean and even the walk to the beach was obky 2 minutes away i would go back again and again just like some of the regulars they have do so food was so tasty and amazing and when it got to my wifes 50th birthday they arranged a cake to be delivered on the evening was easy to get to and from rodos town centre via public transport what more can you want for your first holiday abroad ...... we felt special wanted and was madr to feel very very welcome AMAZING FEELING AND AN EXPERIANCE WE WILL NEVER FORGET thank you to ypu all and you did your hotela massive credit thanks again wow .......

The hotel is in a great spot. Rhodes town is a 15 minute bus ride away. The hotel is good. Nice pools and superb views. We had an Executive room on the 5th floor. King size comfortable bed and nice bathroom with a large shower. The hotel is let down badly by its food. If you like pasta and pizza you can’t go wrong. Their meat selection at both lunch and dinner was either pork or chicken. The soup was nearly cold every day. Their desserts were not brilliant except for the Vanilla slices which were exceptional. Overall we had a nice week but won’t return. It is, in my opinion, definitely a three star hotel.

This is my honest review! Stayed here from 16 June - 23 June 2026.

Location – 5/5

I honestly can’t fault the location. The hotel is conveniently close to the airport and within easy reach of Rhodes Old Town, making it a great for exploring the island. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, and supermarkets nearby, and the beach is right on the doorstep. The surrounding area feels safe and public transport links are easily accessible.

Atmosphere – 3/5

The atmosphere was mixed. The hotel itself is busy and lively, particularly around the pool area, and there was entertainment available throughout the day and evening. However, it lacked the luxury and relaxing atmosphere I would expect from a five-star hotel. While some guests may enjoy the lively environment, I found it felt more like a standard holiday resort than a premium hotel experience.

Rooms – 2/5

Unfortunately, the rooms were one of the biggest disappointments for me. They simply did not feel like five-star accommodation. The bathroom was extremely small and it only had a bath with a shower head. The floor became incredibly slippery after showering, which felt dangerous. Unlike most five-star hotels I’ve stayed in, there were no toiletries provided. The towels were surprisingly small, and the hairdryer was so weak that drying your hair took forever. The television offered very limited entertainment, with only one channel available to watch. The fridge struggled to keep drinks and snacks properly cold. The air conditioning was effective enough but incredibly loud, rumbling throughout the night and making it difficult to sleep. I also found the bedsheets quite rough and itchy, which further impacted comfort.

Value for Money – 2/5

Considering I paid over £1,000 for this holiday, I do not feel the hotel offered good value for money. While the location is excellent, many aspects of the hotel fell well below what I would expect from a five-star. Had it been advertised as a three star hotel, my expectations would have been different, but for the price paid, I expected a significantly higher standard throughout.

Cleanliness – 3/5

Overall cleanliness was acceptable, and the hotel appeared reasonably well maintained. However, on several occasions it seemed that the beds had simply been remade rather than the linens being changed. While the rooms were generally tidy, attention to detail could certainly be improved.

Noise Levels – 2/5

The walls are very thin, meaning you can hear almost everything happening in the corridors and neighbouring rooms. Conversations, doors slamming, and people walking past were all clearly audible, particularly early in the morning and late at night. If you’re a light sleeper, this may be an issue.

Service – 3/5

Service was inconsistent. Some members of staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful, while others came across as quite rude and uninterested. I also found communication difficult at times, as some staff members spoke very little English. While I completely understand that not everyone will speak fluent English, it can become problematic when guests are trying to ask questions, report issues, or seek assistance. That said, I cannot praise the entertainment team enough. Bob and Alex were absolutely fantastic throughout our stay and worked incredibly hard to keep guests engaged and entertained. The pool itself is good, although I found it uncomfortably cold on some days. My biggest concern was the marble surface surrounding it, which becomes extremely slippery when wet and feels like an accident waiting to happen. What was particularly disappointing was the lifeguard, who was frequently sitting on his phone rather than actively supervising the pool area. I personally witnessed people slipping on the marble and saw no response, which felt both unprofessional and concerning from a safety perspective.

Amenities – 3/5

The hotel offers the basic amenities expected of a resort, including a swimming pool, entertainment programme, bar facilities, and beach access. However, many of the facilities felt average rather than exceptional. For a hotel claiming a five-star rating, I expected higher-quality amenities and more attention to guest comfort and convenience.

Food & Drink – 1/5

This was by far the biggest issue for me.

I wouldn’t consider myself a picky eater, but I genuinely struggled most days to find something enjoyable. Breakfast options felt very limited, typically consisting of eggs, sausage, beans, and pancakes, with little variation. Lunch and dinner appeared to cater predominantly to international palates rather than offering a wide variety of options that would appeal to all guests. While that’s understandable in a resort setting, I found the selection repetitive and often unappealing. The meat was frequently very chewy and sometimes not particularly hot when served. Most concerningly, I noticed mouldy fruit on multiple occasions, which is simply unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one advertised as five-star. The drink service was also frustrating. At breakfast, the only options were orange, apple, or pineapple juice, alongside water. All of the juices tasted extremely sweet and artificial. At lunch and dinner, guests must wait for a server to take drink orders, and on multiple occasions I was nearly finished eating before anyone approached my table. This was particularly frustrating when staff appeared to be standing chatting amongst themselves rather than attending to guests. Another frustration was the snack bar and the hotel’s all-inclusive offering. Several food and drink items at the snack bar were not actually included within the all-inclusive package and required an additional charge. While I understand that some hotels offer premium items at an extra cost, I felt this was not made particularly clear and was somewhat misleading. When booking an all-inclusive holiday, most guests reasonably expect food and drinks available within the hotel to be included unless clearly stated otherwise. Having to pay extra for certain items detracted from the overall experience and made the package feel less like a true all-inclusive holiday.

Overall

While Belair Beach Hotel benefits from an excellent location and a hardworking entertainment team, the overall experience fell far short of what I would expect from a five-star hotel. Between the disappointing food, dated and uncomfortable rooms, inconsistent service, safety concerns around the pool, and lack of value for money, I left feeling underwhelmed. Considering I paid over £2,000 for this holiday, I do not believe the hotel represents good value for money, and I certainly would not classify it as a five-star property. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.

My husband and I like this hotel, it’s a hotel of two halves as far as we are concerned. You have the very busy, noisy side (infinity pool, entertainment etc) then you have the older quieter pool which is where we are always found. As we are in our late seventies it’s perfect!!
The food is good, we go half board as don’t enjoy the drinks on offer but you have your own fridge and can buy your own drink with free ice from the very helpful bar staff and a balcony room it’s really lovely. There is entertainment on at night but we don’t participate as not our scene but there other places around so again all good!
Sadly we have since discovered this hotel has been dropped by TUI and Jet 2 for next year - have no idea why?
So for us I will keep looking to see if either company reinstate Belair Beach or look for an alternative else where- Shame !!

Bob&Alex was the best entertainers

Very good hotel

After being here last year and having a great time we booked again for this year and it was just brilliant from start to finish.The room was lovely with an amazing pool and sea view,we had a bottle of wine and supper left in fridge as we arrived very late.We were all inclusive and enjoyed the varied selection everyday.Staff so friendly and happy to help you.The pool area is beautiful and plenty of sunbeds there is also a quieter pool at other part of the hotel.The entertainment staff Alex and Bob are unreal keeping everyone happy and entertained from morning to night! They were great fun,we miss them already!! Can't wait to return.

Stayed here for 1 week half board. Lovely hotel, staff friendly and helpful. Clean and well maintained. Food selection satisfactory.

This was 3rd time staying at Belair, we stayed in room 665 which was one of the executive rooms, the room was very nice and up to date. We were always able to find a sun-bed around the main pool.
(There was signs up saying not to reserve sun-beds between 7am - 8am, and people did reserve them)
We staying on a half board basis: Breakfast was nice with plenty of options.
Evening meal was the opposite! we decided to eat out most of the time as we got quite bored of just having chips and pizza, also we didn’t fancy being charged for having a glass of water with our meal.
Our room was cleaned everyday but not to a 4 star standard hotel but other than that all ok, if we did stay again we would most likely stay for bed and breakfast.

First off the best thing about this hotel was the maids, stayed on the 3rd floor of the main hotel and they were top rate. So please leave them a lovely tip on your last day. They deserve it. However the towels were ridiculous, no way could anyone wrap a towel round them and drip/air dry out on the balcony. Which after a days sunbathing would have been nice. They were small! And unless you are 6' tall there was no where to hang the towels. We had to take ours out onto the balcony to dry off. Now the main swimming pool.....Absolutely no natural shade at all, with fixed umbrellas, so close,to each other you are literally between 12" - 18" away from your neighbours. You basically rely on your neighbours umbrella as well as your own for shade. (It was hot! As in 30c the First few days we were there) And if your sunbathing next to some anti umbrella Swedish sun worshippers who hiss at the shade creeping onto their sunbeds whilst holding up a silver crucifix like we were, then you will need to cover up. But then we discovered the original pool. Which was great, as one side is in the shade at all times. Problem with that pool is that is where all the broken sunbeds go to retire, and you have to sort through them to find a decent pair. However you well need to move as the whole area descends into shade between 4 and 5 and becomes a bit chilly. Bonus, no ques to get drinks. Food was dreadful, both my travelling companion and I were physically sick on two separate evenings. Either everything was swimming in congealed sauce or gravy, or it was topped with melted cheese. They made a pork Wellington, which looked lovely, but the slices were sat in gravy reducing the pastry into a soggy mess. (Sigh) So hardly ate much at all. However recommend the beach bar restaurant just across the road to the right, best steak dinner I've ever had, eaten whilst watching the sun go down, drinking a lovely Greek wine whilst a man walked around the restaurant playing his saxophone. Fantastic evening. Would I go back to the Belair beach hotel? Sorry not even f they paid me.

We had a mixed experience at this hotel, the area is fab however we would not choose this hotel again.

On the positive side, the location is brilliant, you can easily walk into Rhodes town, and turning left out of the resort offers another great walking route. The hotel itself and the pool area were kept very clean, and the animation team was absolutely fantastic, working so hard to keep everyone entertained, massive shoutout to Bob and Alex who are so entertaining and kind, they take their time to get to know you and make the experience really personal.

However, the service and facilities left a lot to be desired. We found the bar and waiting staff to be quite rude and judgmental. people even got shouted at just for grabbing juice at lunch, it is an all inclusive yet you are severely restricted.

There absolutely should be a mocktail menu here, but instead, when you ask for a cocktail without alcohol, you are subjected to dirty looks and asked intrusive questions like whether you are pregnant.

The hotel is outdated, to the point where there are still ten-year-old flight posters stuck on the walls, and the games room is horrible, empty, and full of broken walls. you’d think someone would go around and at least remove old posters but no one seems to care. there isn’t much pride in the hotel it seems.

Evenings aren’t great the entertainment only lasts an hour and a half, the cleaners were disappointing, and the food is incredibly repetitive. there is no need for spaghetti every single night and the food is often cold. food isn’t labelled accurately either.

Despite the great location and animation team, the hostile service and poor facilities mean we won't be returning, and wouldn’t recommend this place.

However rhodes in itself is fantastic, and we can’t wait to return to the island but a different hotel this time.

Just returned after 12 nights from this beautiful Hotel. Cannot fault it at all. We had the most amazing views and the room was perfect although we didn’t spend much time in it. There was a mini fridge iron and ironing board very spacious wardrobes a kettle and cups but I took mugs. Coffee, tea and milk was supplied too.
The pool was lovely a nice big infinity pool and a smaller pool round the back if you wanted it a little quieter but the atmosphere was brilliant. The 2 entertainment guys Alex and Bob did a great job well done guys you did make us laugh and what a team.
The food was probably the only little let down breakfast wasn’t very warm but edible and the evening meal wasn’t great but something for everyone. The snack bar was great and I enjoyed that the best freshly made sandwiches all different salads hot food and chips and desserts too. That was at both pools. The girls behind the bar at the main pool were fantastic so friendly polite pleasant and very helpful. Such a delight.
The cleaners all do a fantastic job and the management should be super proud of them as the place was beautifully clean. ( that was our opinion ) other people may not think that as I read that someone thought the pool toilets were unclean but I never saw that in the 12 nights we were there the cleaners were always cleaning them.
The staff in the dining room were ok spoke if they needed too. The only thing I would complain about was the 2 ladies doing the eggs and omelette I found them to be a bit ignorant stood talking knowing you were there but carried on yapping and showing something on their mobile and laughing then decide to ask what we wanted, whether people find that a nothing I found it to be a bit ignorant to the guest I saw this a few times.
My honest opinion is the hotel was fantastic and will definitely return again.

Lovely location on seafront x lovely pool and plenty of sunbeds x rooms were spotless and lovely walk in shower plenty of storage and hanging space x iron and board in cupboard x tea and coffee making in room x fridge with bottled water in x we arrived late night and food was in our fridge x you can hire beach towels if needed x safe in room for small payment x 10 euros night tax per room x lovely Greek night with musicians and dancers all outside 👍👍bus ride to old Rhodes town or short walk to taxi rank and cost is 12 euros x plenty of activities French boules. Darts. Water volleyball x water aerobics x bingo and music quiz once weekly good prizes x the animation team Bob and Alik were great fun 👍👍👍all staff were friendly and helpful especially the chap on reception overnight and early morning he was excellent at service x food was nice and hot plenty of choice x food at pool bar through day x found drinks great really good choice of cocktails etc if you’re all inclusive x would def go to Belair in Ixia Rhodes again x we had a lovely time 👍👍👍👍

Had an amazing stay at Belair with my partner. Had an exclusive room with pool and sea view which was really spacious and clean. Food was great, not great deal of choice but definitely something for everyone. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Special mention to Bob and Alex, the entertainers, they were fantastic. Hotel is in a great location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend Belair!

just stayed here for a week…

hotel itself : clean/well kept, some parts of the hotel new/modern-looking, some parts quite dated and old-looking ,but not a problem, theres 2 pools one smaller one around the back of the hotel and 1 larger infinity pool at the front of the hotel, sunbeds arent a problem theres always some that are free.

entertainment: alex and bob where hilarious very welcoming and chatty. they usually ran the entertainment at the hotel there was things like water sport, fireshows, bingo, karaoke, there was even a party bus to falaraki that ran every tue/friday for people who wanna go clubbing.

food: breakfast was great, lots of selection, pastries, fried/scrambelled/boiled eggs, cereal, breads,yoghurt, fruit, pancakes, spreads/jams, saussage, bacon, tomatoes, cold cuts of cheese and meats,beans etc, they even had omlette station, big shoutout to the 2 women who where always there the omlettes where PERFECT. my fav part of the breakfast.
lunch/dinner… not so great not alot of options for fussy eaters(im not a fussy eater and still didnt wanna eat much on the buffet) the dinner and lunch buffets consisted off pizza, chips, random meats in sauces, salads, breads, about it.
i didnt feel like there was much option for them 2 meals but couldnt fault breakfast!

staff: all of the staff where very welcoming and polite. always greeting u and wishing u a good day. no complaints at all

location: about a 15 min walk to the left into ixia strip where theres a few supermarkets/bars/restraunts.
there is 3 shops more a less outside of the hotel so dont need to walk far for one,
about a 10 min drive into rhodes town(mabye about 40-45min walk if ur brave enough)

recommendations:
instead of taxi use bus! its around €2.50 for a one-way ticket, unlike a taxi is around €10-15 for one way, u can get the bus just outside of the sheraton hotel on the left hand side, the bus will have (rhodos centre) written on it so u cant miss it.
sebastions bar/glory days fbi are a must, only 15 min walk into ixia strip and they both have amazing service with great food and drink at good prices.

would i return: probably not,mainly because of the location, ur not in the centre so not alot to do at walking distance, although the hotel was okay if i was to come back i would do bed and breakfast, i personally dont think all inclusive is worth it, but a good stay overall!

We stayed here last year May2025 since then the Hotel has gone down hill In a Year Its our last day here Today. We will not be Returning Again ever. The room was Disgustingly Dirty under the bed was shocking Dirt everywhere the only thing that kept us here was the pool bar staff and entertainment. BOB&ALEX Management was useless unlike last year Waste of money 42years of coming to Rhodes&Greece different Locations. I'd rather stay elsewhere now any travellers that want to clean on there Holiday then stay But if not stay elsewhere.

Just finished a week holiday at the Belair Beach Hotel and there is nothing else to say other than it was absolutely top class! From arriving to checking out every staff member was helpful for the duration of our stay. The food was very good and there was nothing at fault with our room, it was very spacious and had everything you need. The reception team were very informative with any queries and especially a big shout out to Vasillis on reception who was absolutely brilliant! To Bob and Alex in the entertainment, your work was brilliant all week. Always getting involved and making games so fun and enjoyable from morning to evening. The atmosphere was so enjoyable. Would definitely come back again and highly recommend to others looking for an all inclusive hotel.

The room was lovely and clean the food was amazing the two lads who entertained were lovely and fun to be around bob and Alan the music just needs to be on all day and a bit louder and more entertainment of a night time apart from that we would come and stay at this hotel again absolutely loved it especially with our sea view to from

We have just spent Saturday - Saturday at Belair Beach Hotel and it was honestly incredible.
Alex and Bob the entertainment staff were wonderful! They made our experience so fun and always went above and beyond for everybody throughout the day / night. The food was always lovely and we had no complaints. Everything was very fresh!
The drinks were gorgeous and there was so much variety!
Rooms were exceptionally clean and great with space.
It was a calm atmosphere with some fun music throughout the day when they did the activities. The location was perfect!

Lovely 10 days spent with my family! The location of the hotel was good, next to a lovely quiet pebble beach.
The hotel was very big, composing of three pools, all cleaned every day.
The rooms were not very big but they were cleaned by the staff everyday, I was so shocked, usually they come every 2/3 days but the ladies were spectacular, very respectful and friendly and always so hardworking, they deserve a pay rise!
The food was amazing, especially the seafood, freshly cooked, we were so satisfied- every day something different, apart from the breakfast which was pretty much the same with tiny changes.
The atmosphere was okay, they could have worked on a few more group activities and not start the evening shows so late, I had a small toddler and I asked for at least one night to be a tiny bit early so I can enjoy one evening but my desire wasn’t heard. I was half board but the manager was super nice when I asked if I can purchase every lunch time soup for my toddler and he said I am welcome to grab a plate for the baby every day which I was so grateful.
Overall it was a pleasant stay and I’d recommend it, maybe go towards the end of May as we experienced a couple of rainy and windy days but we hanged around at the gym and play area and it was nice!
In addition I think it was great value for money and for those who don’t rent a car the bus stop is right outside.
I’d like to thank all the staff but a special mention to Sami, Angela, Majlinda, Besa and the Meter, you guys are all so positive and work hard to please your guests!
