Hotel B

This hotels turned out to be my best choice for my family trip.
The location was great, near all kind of public transportation, there are convenience stores all around.
Breeze shopping center is only 2 blocks away

We especially like the cleaning staff who was very accommodating.

Like: lots of breakfast choices, rooms were always replenished with water, coffee

Need to improve: all breakfast foods (should have labels of ingredients, in case of allergies or people just wanting to know what it's called--in case they want to replicate when they go home, this would be helpful), we were supposed to go to the 8th floor but that room smelled like mildew. It was a production to get reassigned and got the 6th floor instead...shower curtain area still smelled of mildew faintly but it took so long to get the room changed, we just stayed with it. Rooms are small for 4 people...there should also be conditioner in the shower area.

Closet area should be able to accommodate a longer dress or trench coat...otherwise things have to be dragging on the bottom shelf. Could have better lighting in the room in general. Need blackout curtains and a bathroom door that's dark so that it doesn't light up the whole room when others are sleeping. Disappointed we didn't have access to laundry or gym. There should have been maps or directions for alternate locations for this or should have offered compensation/discount or something as this is one of the reasons why I chose this but due to remodeling, 2nd floor (where gym and laundry was), these were closed.

Location was fine but not as close to the MRT as I'd like.

Staff was extraordinary kind . Convenient walking distance from dining!

The front desk staff were friendly and attentive. Hotel room was very clean and quiet though a bit dated. Overall a good stay with the price paid.

Clean, nice staff and walkable distance to MRT (10mins)

This hotel is centrally located with shops, restaurants and markets nearby and about 10-minute walking from the metro station. The room I stayed is very clean and its amenities are in good condition; hotel staff is very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to visit Taipei in the near future.

Quite an aged hotel, staff were friendly, parking was at a nearby supermarket carpark - spacious but you will need to communicate with the parking lot staff for free parking - mandarin speaker is a must . Overall was a pleasant experience

Highly recommend this property. It was very clean. Staff were always nice and very helpful. The breakfast was a buffet and was amazing. Lots of assortment with both Chinese and western options. Lots of drinks options including almond and soy milk and many coffee options. There was also congee and fruits and dessert. I'd come back just for the breakfast but everything else was beyond my expectations as well. Special thanks to the lady who helped check us in as she went above and beyond to help us.

We were looking for a solid, cost-effective hotel in this location, and are very happy with Hotel B. Way to get to the MRT. Many restaurant choices. Good breakfast. And the staff is outstanding.

Stayed at Hotel B for the first duration of my Taiwan trip with my friend. Facility was clean, well kept and staff was always very attentive and friendly. Always saw the same staff so I wonder when they slept!

The room itself, while a little small, was comfortable and well kept.

My favourite part of the hotel, besides the great and friendly staff was the breakfast buffet. I'm used to North American hotel breakfast spots, and the breakfast spread here was insanely fresh, tasty and abundant. I can never go back to horrible North American hotel breakfast now. The food here was so tasty and good. I would probably pay to eat here. It was that good.

Overall, thanks to the property for making my Taipei visit great. I will book again if I visit again.
