Perfect solo treat on Valentine's Day
Pros:

I spent Valentine's Day 2026 treating myself to a day out at the Sheraton Kampala, and it was honestly a great decision. I wasn't staying overnight, just came to enjoy the atmosphere and some good food. The hotel grounds are stunning—9 acres of beautiful gardens right in the heart of the city, which made for a lovely relaxing walk .

I had lunch at one of their restaurants and ordered a burger slice and pizza with some fries. Both were surprisingly good—the pizza had a perfect thin crust, and the burger was juicy. A special shout-out to Angella, who served me. She was warm, attentive, and made me feel like a valued guest even though I was just there for a meal, not checking in.

If you're looking for a quiet, upscale spot to unwind alone in Kampala, this is it. The pool area looked inviting too—next time I might bring my swimsuit!

Pros:

Amazing food and pool. Staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. They looked after us very well and made us feel at home. A huge thank you to you all from your Scottish guests!

Spent 5 amazing nights in this hotel
Pros:

I have spent four nights at this hotel over the last 10 days. The place is amazing...top quality rooms- spacious and cosy.....and with a view of the city-- the ones where i stayed in...521 and 524. The staffs are friendly and professional. You always have someone approaching you to check if everything is running smooth during your stay.
A special mention to Hope and Mohamed at the reception and Joan at the restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel.

Right from booking hotel was v responsive. Chauffeur for airport pickup was great giving a running commentary on things we saw along the way. Muhammad at reception was so welcoming and helpful! Judith and the restaurant ladies were amazing!
