We’ve just returned from a week at this hotel with our baby and had a nice holiday but do feel some things could be improved.

We felt the overall cleanliness of the hotel was good, however the floor in our room was dirty and never got any better throughout our stay.

The food was ok and definitely got better as the week went on. It wasn’t always the hottest but staff were constantly replacing the trays with fresh food to try and keep up with this.

Our main issue with our stay was the location. The beach is just a minutes walk away and is beautiful but other than this there is nothing around. A tiny supermarket next door and a pharmacy is all that is close by. It is a long walk (around 50 minutes) to the closest town centre with shops, bars and restaurants. Apparently there is a good bus service but this just isn’t ideal when we have a pram and lots of baby essentials to take with us. It would be good if the hotel offered a good snack menu for lunchtimes as this was a real issue for us, we ended up just eating crisps from the shop next door as there was nowhere nearby to go for lunch and all that was on offer at the hotel was a pizza, toastie or salad at a very expensive price.

The staff were always helpful if we needed anything and the mini club staff were also great.

First impressions were not good when arriving at this hotel as soon as you walk through the door there is a terrible strong smell of smoke in the main reception this is coming from the two doors that lead to the pool where the smoking area is ,so non smokes like my self and children have to walk through smoke to go to the pool .This is a bad place for the smokers there should be a different area away from the doors.They are tables outside which are no smoking but some people still smoke there and are not asked to move.The next thing is the sun beds I only had a sun bed three days out of the two weeks .people reserve bed early in the morning and most don’t even come down till 2pm or not at all as they go out for the day .The pool man did put tickets on the beds that no one was using saying the the towels would be took off after an hour but this never happened no towels were took off the hole two weeks I was there .On the up side the rooms are very nice and the food is very good.location is great the beach is only five minutes away and is very nice.I would go back to this hotel but only in low season think there would be better chance of getting a sun bed

El buffet tanto del desayuno como la cena muy bueno.

Hotel is very clean, rooms are more than adequate for families, had an interconnecting room which was great.

Beach a stones through away with miles of sand along with a great path to walk and cycle for miles. A pleasant 3 mile stroll takes you into the centre of salou.

Pool was fairly quiet and clean, sun bed towels are out very early so can become an issue if not quick off the mark. Although on days a note would be left on beds that towels would be removed if not returned within an hour, not sure this was followed through. People would disappear for hours with towels left ready for their return.

Food, personally wasn’t great. Little variation, good if you enjoy a slice or 2 of pizza, pasta and chips but in typical English style, a long queue would form so you would be in for a wait if you didn’t want anything until you reach the far end. Standard people would push in but overall manageable. Staff very pleasant.

Lacking in much activity but good for those wanting a relaxed holiday in the sun in and around the hotel grounds.

Buses right outside the hotel so transfers and anyone wanting to head out, straightforward and a good spot with regular buses passing through.

We stayed for 11nights and enjoyed a fabulous stay
The hotel in all areas was spotlessly clean as was the room which had everything we needed
The food was plentiful and tasty and every night was a varied choice
The bar in the hotel was great and Robert was brilliant
The nightly entertainment was first class as were the hotel staff very friendly nothing was to much trouble.
One slight problem was people reserving sun beds as there were plenty available so unnecessary
We were so impressed and have already booked for next year
