Convenient, clean, easy access
Room was great
Good
Good
staff were lovely
We had a message at 12am sayong that our request to arrive at 1am was cancelled. This made us panic a Nd not think we could get in. We tried ringing several times but couldn't get through. This caused uneeccarry panic and was stressful with a 5 year old. All the towels and cups were dirty, but we did get compensation for this!
Perfect place to stay before early morning trip through tunnel
Fairly basic hotel
Clean, simple features but comfortable and enough for few hours sleep. Excellent for workers to get some sleep.
Free parking and front desk girl was very kind and helpful.
Nothing to mention.
Convenient for a stopover before a morning ferry.
We had booked a budget room with a double bed and a sofa bed for us and our two 12yr old daughters to stay in, just as a basic overnight stop before a ferry the next morning.
The smell of stale urine coming from the bathroom was the first thing that my husband and our daughters weren't too impressed with.
The room itself was very basic, but could really have done with a deep clean and possibly some updating of the decor and fixtures and fittings. For example, the top of the wall heater looked like it had nicotine stains on it, the bathroom towel radiator was not something we wanted to hang towels on and the bath was something we considered to be "out of bounds".
Whilst the bed wasn't terrible, the sofa bed was atrocious. The mattress was barely an inch thick and all the metal frame and springs could be felt through it. The frame itself dipped in the middle, giving the feeling of sleeping on a slope and requiring an arm or a leg to be hooked over the side in order to not roll into the middle. The duvet was of equivalent thickness to the mattress and ended up being slept on top of in order to compensate somewhat for the horrendously thin mattress.
The plan had been for the girls to share the sofa bed, but as my daughter was not too keen on the lack of comfort of the sofa bed, my husband decided he would share it with his daughter, while my daughter shared the bed with me. Unfortunately, my husband failed to get any sleep on the sofa bed, instead he opted to try sleeping in the car in order to allow his daughter to be able to sleep in the pit of the middle of the sofa bed and to not disturb myself and my daughter with his trying to get comfortable. As the car was too cold, he instead spent the night in the services, drinking coffee to try and stay awake and was incredibly relieved when the time came for us to leave.
Never again will we stay in this "hotel".
Location suited our trip a good budget hotel.
The staff are excellent, v welcoming. The person checking me in was v welcoming, remember who I was from previous visits.
The room was comfortable, with everything needed there. Love the Yorkshire tea bags and biscuits. V good value for money. V useful location, v helpful staff
I liked everything
It’s basic, but clean
Clean nice rooms. Nice Bath
Hot Drinks and biscuits provided
The friendly, smiling welcome at Reception, the generous sized room, the comfortable bed & the quiet, and not forgetting the dog's welcome biscuits! The unlimited tea/coffee & biscuits were very much appreciated, too.
Missing plug, & poor functioning of mixer tap on washbasin.
Only 2 Disabled Parking places near the hotel.
I left early so no breakfast. Comfort and price were great, great parking, quiet and peacefull hotel. Easy check in and check out.would have preferred a door between bedrooms for privacy.
