Pros:

Lovely lady greated us and gave my kids a goodie bag, which made them happy. Liked the biscuits offered with tea.

Cons:

Out room had a lot of cobwebs like it hadn't been used or deep cleaned in months. Found lots of spiders and dust. Bed and bathroom as clean.

Pros:

No breakfast. Suited our needs for travel.

Cons:

Decent net curtains, looked fairly dirty and fell down when tried to make them look better. No decaf coffee or tea.

2. Dirty socks from previous guest on bathroom floor.

Would not book again, unfortunately.
Pros:

The location is great, with easy access to Dover. We had a TV with many channels to choose from. We had enough tea and coffee, and they were lovely, plus a couple of cookies. The car park is free.

Cons:

We are a family of 4. When we arrived, we only had bedding for my husband and me. Our teenage kids were supposed to sleep on a pull-out sofa, but it wasn't made. We had to go and ask for bedding for them. The manager was quite surprised that the sofa wasn't made and came to check if it was true. We then received a couple of bedsheets and a duvet that would cover a toddler (this small duvet was in a full-size double duvet cover?!). The sofa was of a smaller size (I'd say too small for 2 teens).
The bathroom had a funky smell, like someone had smoked there before and a lot.
The room itself needs a good scrub, a lick of paint, and a few things need to be fixed, like peeling wallpaper, a burnt hole in the net curtain, rubbish outside our window,... It could be a lot better if someone cared a lot and made things feel better, even on a very small budget.
I don't have an issue with an old-fashioned room, but I do care about the smell/cleanliness and common sense.

Really lovely welcome when i got there. Lady on reception couldn't have been nicer. Room spacious and comfy

Cons:

Hot weekend and bath/shower water setting was stuck on hot. However much you adjusted could not get warm or cold water.
