Bus outside property that went to the city. Cafe across the road.

Cons:

Room was very narrow and cramped. The room was upstairs and no lift so we had to lug our heavy suitcases up and down the stairs.

Lovely welcoming place with all that we needed.
Pros:

Lovely big room with very comfy bed and all the kitchen and bathroom
facilities we needed.
Fresh tasty breakfast was delivered to the room.
Excellent laundry room available on site.
Good location on bus route into city centre.
Friendly and helpful couple looking after the place while the owners were away.

Fantastic place to stay in Christchurch.
Pros:

Fantastic hosts, great room - better than expected. Super comfy bed and the room was lovely and warm. The location is great, just a 20 minute stroll into the centre of Christchurch. Plenty of parking at the hotel.

Just book!
Pros:

Stunning historical house. Wayne and his wife are lovely people who make you feel at home. Perfect location for both city center and parks (at least for those who love a walk) Or you can house the bikes available for the hosts . On the other side of the street an excellent bakery and breakfast.
