A nice smart hotel located not far from the city centre but the design of the cheapest double rooms make them more suita
Pros:

Nice ambiance, good air conditioning, clean smart design, plenty of free cold drinks, a coffee machine and friendly staff.

Cons:

The double bed was squeezed against a wall so that one person could only get in and out of bed over the end of the bed. In was impossible to keep the floor outside the shower dry when using the walk in shower. While the room was very clean overall, it was let down by a stained carpet. The hot food selection at the breakfast buffet was very basic.

Beautiful and comfortable stay thanks to lovely staff
Pros:

Wonderful staff welcomed us at reception. And the staff were incredible throughout our stay. Lovely maids also attempted to help us through my miserable German, which was very sweet. The amenities are second to none. A very clean, bright and comfortable room impressed me especially for the reasonable price. It was also very quiet in the room. I will happily return if I am back in Bern.

Cons:

We had some trouble getting the codes to public transport, as we only had one code for two of us, but it may have been our bad.

Great base for exploring Bern
Pros:

Very convenient location close to the city centre, excellent facilities and amenities, a delicious breakfast buffet and dinner at Giardino (possibly the best burger I've ever had) and incredibly friendly and helpful staff! I had a wonderful stay.
