Posizione eccellente. In pieno centro. Struttura molto bella e camera spaziosa. Quasi ogni giorno ci hanno cambiato le lenzuola (non scontato).
Prezzo molto alto per gli standard del posto. Piscina molto piccola (quasi inutile). Colazione abbastanza scarsa.

Very unclean, ceiling was leaking in multiple locations (directly on top of toilet and directly on top of bed), towels look grimy, very outdated and dirty rooms

The furnishings are nice. The double glazing in the room does well to block sound from the street despite the central location.
Comparing Dioni to other hotels I've stayed in recently in the same range, here are the things that stood out to me:
Room:
- the room didn't have a hairdryer. You had to call reception for it.
- the bathroom had no hooks or rails to hang towels.
- you have to call reception to get an iron. Again, this is really dated.
Breakfast:
-the breakfast is average. We didn't have an option on booking.com to book without breakfast, which is a shame given the number of good alternatives there are in the town.
Zero effort has been made to dress the roof terrace for guests. I honestly don't see how this passes as 4-star in 2026.
Parking:
Parking is advertised in the facilities. There are a handful of spaces that are constantly full. We observed double parking most times we passed the car park. I imagine when your car is the one that's trapped you have to go back to reception and then wait for someone to come and move their car to let you out..... hopefully you're not in a rush to be somewhere.
The next car park is about an 8 minute walk away. It's also full constantly. Drivers circle it like vultures waiting for a space to free up. If you're lucky enough to find a space here the good thing is that it's free.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone with a large vehicle, young children, or difficulty walking.
Staff:
The receptionist who checked us in saw that we were a group of 3 people and chose to give us 1 room card. I've no doubt that we could have asked for a second - but in so many other places staff are proactive in either asking the question as part of check-in or in just giving multiple cards.
At breakfast, the milk had run out. Staff was absent for a long period. Various guests stood around discussing the milk amid growing confusion - it was quite entertaining. I saw one guy use the hot cappuccino milk for cornflakes. Eventually someone with enough confidence walked to the kitchen to inform staff and it got resolved.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our one-night layover. The location is perfect, right in the city center, and everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We also really appreciated the comfortable beds, which made for a great night’s sleep. Overall, a lovely hotel and a perfect choice for a short stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Καλαίσθητο ξενοδοχειο,καθαρό,με όλες τις απαραίτητες παροχές,στο ψυγειο μας πάντα υπήρχαν διαθέσιμα μπουκάλια νερού χωρίς χρέωση, η τοποθεσία η καλύτερη που θα μπορούσε, στην καρδιά της τουριστικής περιοχής αλλά και συγχρόνως ήσυχο. Πολύ κοντά σε όλα τα καταστήματα εστίασης καθώς και στην παραλία. Ευχαριστώ προσωπικά τους υπεύθυνους που διευθέτησαν ένα πρόβλημα που προέκυψε στην κράτηση μας με τον καλύτερο τρόπο.
