Beyond expectation.
Pros:

Couldn't believe how good this place was for the price. Not one thing could we fault. Definitely 100% will not even look anywhere else next time. Hopefully we can get to stay again.

Cons:

Nothing could of been better. Liked everything about our stay. Location must be best in Southampton also.

It was fine for what we required.
Pros:

Good central location.
Clean room and a nice breakfast.
Nice comfy bed.

Cons:

Our room didn’t have a bath which was a little disappointing.
No fruit available at breakfast either.
Water pressure when showering was very poor.

Enjoyable stay in a a good location
Pros:

Brilliant location and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great.

Cons:

The bed was a bit small for a double and our room was very noisy. Not just from outside but within the hotel.

Fair price, pleasant stay
Pros:

Easy access to where I was visiting, the rooms was clean but there were mildew stains in the ceiling of the shower. The lift was old but kinda cool the floors were really creaking and you could hear people moving around although I think that was a lot down to it being such an old building it had period features which were charming. Despite it being in the city centre it wasn’t too bad for noice during the night.

Cons:

It would have been nice if somewhere in the hotel in their communications they made it clear that I was expected to pay an extra security deposit and provide photo id. Seeing as I paid upfront for the convenience being told to pay an additional amount was a little jarring.

The rooms was extremely warm all night which I struggled with there was no fan and having to windows open let too much additional noise in.

The shower was claustrophobic I’m a 5’ 2” not big built person and I barely fit.
