Good location with parking
Tired building and interior . Old lift carpets, windows, curtains. Very hot day on third floor curtains had not been kept closed to try to keep room cool. One underpowered fan only. Slightly odd smell in room
Charming place to stay right in the middle of the City. I’ve stayed here 3 times!
It’s a little run-down but I quite like that - it’s original, historic, got old-fashioned charm, and a nice break from generic chain hotels. The staff are lovely.
Good location, a big old building but very much well used and feeling very much neglected now, just a lick of paint on everything to try and keep looking fresh.
Room very tired, cracked panes of glass in windows, bathroom tiles roller painted grey, carpets all tired out, just looking a bit scruffy and offers the bare minimum.
Very dates, no aircon an was like an oven. Dodgy floor boards throughout the building and the beds were not comfortable
Location
Sehr laut und bei 30 Grad war es einfach zu heiß drin. Der Ventilator war zu schwach
Nothing
Everything
Perfect location in the centre , parking was brilliant very secure .
Staff very friendly.
Room size was great and bed comfortable.
Had iron / ironing board in room which was great .
Also decent mugs to make tea in the morning.
Very dated
Shower head hanging off paint all flaking off bathroom ceiling .
Needs tidying up in general
The staffs were friendly, kind, and accommodating. Location is superb!
I appreciate that it is a listed property, however, it's just extremely hot during the summer. They should disclose it in their description at least so guests may be able to plan. Fan was provided, but it was not enough for a family room, (and it doesn't even produce air). Thus, windows are opened, which meant there is just too much noise from the outside. Very uncomfortable.
No fridge in the room. Squeaky bed & floors. Very outdated T&B. Manual lift which was heavy and awkward. Nothing special with breakfast; and no hot chocolate. Not all people drink coffee.
Price not worth it.
Staff were super helpful and couldnt do enough. Location right next to main shopping streets and shopping centres was excellent.
Due to being an old listed building it missed air con which during a heatwave was way more noticeable.
Nice welcoming staff
Norhing all wqs superb
