Great location, quite room, nicely decorated, descent breakfast, absolutely wonderful staff.
Pillows were hard
Very central hotel with the added bonus of parking. Staff were all friendly and our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had breakfast on one morning which was fresh and tasty and also had oat milk for my tea which I didn’t expect!
Would definately stay here again next time we are in Southampton.

On my arrival they confirmed it had paid my reservation in full through Booking.com. They charged me £7 per day car parking which was not clear to me before booking. They also forced a £25 deposit for my room, claiming this will be refunded on my departure. On my departure I asked for my deposit to be returned but they claimed they needed to check the room which they were unable to do so in my presence. They informed me the deposit would be returned to my bank the following day.
I tried ringing the Hotel today on many occasions to ask if my deposit was returned but the phone was unanswered!.
I regularly use Booking.com but until this is resolved I will book through other agents. I have never had before been asked for a room deposit and have found the entire experience upsetting.
The staff was brilliant, very helpful and friendly and great location.
The room looked different to what was advertised on the site, very very dated! The bed creeked as if it was going to break and the mattress was terrible!!
