The hotel is clean. Staff was friendly. Having a safe and small fridge in the room was very nice Location convenient to the port. Wonderful place to stay. Lovely. 4 minute walk to beach and swim. Reasonably priced for amenities

Atheras was a nice little hotel, but all the amentities are not actually available. They do not have a restaurant that is open, nor a bar. They only offer the paid breakfast in the morning. The elevator is not for people, but luggage only, and the only way to get into the hotel is up stairs, which was difficult for my mom.
The pool is actually quite small. Much of the hotel seemed as though it is not used in a long time. The jacuzzi and sauna are only available if you pay for them, and they have to give them notice so they can heat them up. We got a massage through the spa and our hair was completely covered in oil. The lady was nice, but the massage wasn't anything special. We did book ahead of time for the massage. The night lady was very helpful, but the lady during the day seemed like we were bothering her when we asked for directions or help. The hotel is at the bottom of a steep hill, so don't follow Google maps to get there. You will need to go around by the pier/plaza and then come from that direction. I walked the area to figure out the little streets to get to the parking, but there was plenty. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked. We were given only a sheet, but there were blankets available in the closet.
There was no good swimming in the ocean readily available, it was down a little ways as the port took up most of the space nearby. There were not many restaurant options either. It is a very small town. Not much for tourists.

The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff was very nice and welcoming especially Irene! Great location. The place is steps away from the main square and restaurants and Walking distance to the port. My only complaint was the steep climb to the reception desk.

Great location and great staff

A blessing by chance. We missed our stop at Mykonos and had to detour to Ikaria. On the spot booked this hotel. We arrived and throughout our stay, we fell in love. Irene was the most sweetest and helpful person. The people of the town, also so nice and friendly. A beautiful hotel, accommodating, and a simple nice breakfast. We can't express how grateful we are to Irene...and if you need a taxi, we recommend Stelios. Just ask around, you'll get his number. He's well known, helpful and honest.

Excellent spot! Right next to the port of evdilos (5 minute walk!), hosts were fantastic - breakfast was adequate and beds were comfortable! Would definitely stay again! Everyone in Ikaria is so kind and they have us soooo much information about the island! :)

Perfect location, easy to walk from the port. The rooms have nice outdoor space. The ladies in the reception are extremely friendly and helpful!

The hotel was beautiful, with bright and nicely decorated clean rooms, and helpful and very polite staff. We had a wonderful 6-night stay and are definitely coming back!
