Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.
Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.

Staff was excellent, all very helpful and patient with my google translate when my queries are too complicated sometimes. Clean rooms, on my last day after returning from a hike (which they stored my bag safely for me until my return!) I was given a bigger room with a balcony on the same price. Food is also great from the restaurant. Location is also brilliant, Huaraz city is a small place but this puts me only 4mins away from the square! They are not super, immediately responsive on booking.com but in person, they cannot wait to solve your problems.

El restaurante, el espacio de la habitación que es muy cómoda y silenciosa (mi habitación no daba hacia la calle), tiene ascensor, si eres montañista te recomiendo hospedarte en este hotel porque queda cerca (aprox 10 min caminando) a los sitios principales de interés en Huaraz, los cuales son la Plaza de Armas y principalmente el Parque Ginebra.
La limpieza puede mejorar, me dio rinitis (alergia) porque la zona del armario y las mesas de noche estaban empolvadas, especialmente detrás de la zona del teléfono. El teléfono ilumina mucho de noche, no me dejó dormir bien.
